11.01.2022 Occasionally at a wedding I’ll have a guest ask to take a photo of me. I must admit, I am happy for the opportunity to appear in the final gallery, mostly just to prove I was there! For all the wonderful people who have joined me since my last intro, here’s a little about me (if you’re like me and are keen to read these kinds of things) ... I’m Kaidee. A lover of photographing people. A lover of people full stop, really. I love, love this gig, and if you give me the opportunity to photograph you I already know I’ll love you. And I hope you’ll think I’m alright also. ;) I’m a total fan of Jesus, and have been since I was 11. He’s the bomb. (Side note: does anyone get nervous when they use that B word, like the government is going to add you to their watch list or something?) I have a wonderful hubby and 3 kids. I’ll be honest in saying that I find marriage and parenting are regularly challenging laying aside my own selfishness to love and serve my family is a consistently difficult task! (anyone with me?) But I love my people dearly and am so thankful for the opportunity to be a wife and mum. . 11.01.2022 I messaged this gorgeous girl yesterday (the one in the middle) and asked if she’d mind if I took a few extra days with her Wedding Gallery.. (this is something I reeeeally don’t like doing! I always aim to be on time with my Galleries, but this week I have bitten off more than I could chew ) . She was SO gracious (I was not surprised). Even though I know she’s been so excited for her Gallery, she said that was totally fine, and that I should make sure I have time for me and my family too. I told you I have the best couples!

06.01.2022 Camera in hand, I was looking out over Shelly Beach last Tuesday evening. I had just finished a photography session for a beautiful family, and was preparing to head home for the night. . Tony and Leanne had been enjoying some time together at Shelly's with their pooch, Holly, and we struck up a conversation. . "Why don't you let me take a few photos of you guys whilst we're here?" I asked.... . They obliged, and as I clicked the shutter I was privileged to hear about their journey over recent years. It is a wild journey, with some big dips and unexpected turns, and yet they have come out the other side. (It seems to me that they are deeper people, and more connected as a result..) . 01.01.2022 I gave my hubby the Tupperware container filled with names (high tech here folks) and asked him to pick 2 out. He didn’t think they were mixed up enough, so he told me to close my eyes and hold out my hands. He then proceeded to hold the container up in the air and tip the papers out into my hands.. (even more technical) .... I ended up with 2 papers in my hands so I guess it worked! And the results are.. @portmacquariebackpackers and @lovemylittlebird! I’ll be in touch, ladies! .
