25.01.2022 ###COVID-19 AND UNINTENTIONAL HOME INJURIES### As we enter week 5 of stage 4 restrictions in Victoria we again urge diligence on all fronts. Research now confirms that whilst there has been a decrease in people attending emergency departments when compared to the same time last year, unintentional home injuries are significantly up. Included in this data was increased injuries on bicycles for children. Like the Victorian government we are strong advocates of continued physical activity within the limits of guidance. 22.01.2022 ### PHYSIOTHERAPY AND STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS ### As stage 4 restrictions extend this week into a 7th week, we again are limited to whom we can see and for what presentations. I know many of you have had your treatment postponed due to the criteria we are required to adhere to, and understand this is both frustrating and in some cases debilitating. Do not hesitate to pick up the phone and discuss with myself, as some education or advice may be all that is necessary to help you through. And for those of you that have requirement for essential treatment, our doors remain open and whilst we will triage your presentation over the phone, you may well be suitable to attend for face-to-face consultation.
