20.01.2022 We know that we are facing a difficult time and our community is worried about the impact of COVID-19, and it is easy to forget to look after our bodies. It is important to keep ourselves fit, healthy and to keep on top of those aches and pains. Many of us are now working at home, where our desk set ups may not be as good as our work ones, so it is important to keep up good posture and stay on top of neck pain. As an essential health service, our clinic is still open and we a...re trying to run as smoothly as possible. Our staff are working tirelessly to help ensure your protection from COVID-19, and our clinic has increased its cleaning protocols and staff are now wearing facemasks. At the moment, we are looking into online services that can track our patients exercises and progress for if the time comes where we are no longer able to open the clinic. We are working to ensure that there is minimal risk in our clinic so please dont hesitate to book an appointment by calling us on 9395 2084. See more

20.01.2022 We will be closed Monday 10th June. Enjoy your long weekend

17.01.2022 Yes, we are still open! Half way through stage 4, we hope you are coping with the current Covid restrictions. We understand this can be an extremely tough time for everyone, both mentally and physically. We can at least help you with the physical side of things. We have Telehealth and face to face appointments available for your convenience, however restrictions will apply to face to face appointments. Please call and discuss your treatment options with our friendly reception... staff. You do not need a referral for physiotherapy treatment. You are able to have face to face physiotherapy treatment if, in the absence of treatment, or a 6-week delay in treatment, you will experience a significant deterioration in your functional independence. For the safety of both staff and our valued patients, we are adhering to the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Australian Government guidelines when it comes to the Covid Safe Plan, hygiene, PPE and social distancing protocols. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Stay Happy!

07.01.2022 PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN A CURE! At the Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic Point Cook we pride ourselves in injury prevention and make every effort to allow a person to continue to participate in sport. At this time of lock down, your bodies will have deconditioned to your chosen sport, and will not be prepared for a quick return once restrictions are eased.... We anticipate the pre-season period prior to recommencing sport to be shorter than normal, leading to a greater injury risk. If you have any tightness or areas of concern that you want to sort out before you start training for the season ahead and reduce your injury risk, book an appointment with one of our Physiotherapists. You can book online here on our Facebook page or online at our Website: https://www.physiopointcook.com.au/ Photo source: Herald Sun.

05.01.2022 It's Ella's 18th birthday today. Help us to wish the perfectly lovely Ella, a perfectly lovely birthday. We hope you have a great day Ella. From all of us at the Physio & Sports Injury Clinic.

05.01.2022 We're ready. ARE YOU? As were heading towards the eventual re-opening of Melbourne, the likelihood of jumping straight back into real life will be tempting. With the eventuality of sport returning, your bodies may have deconditioned to your chosen sport, and may not be prepared for a quick return once restrictions are eased. Even professional AFL players struggle with injuries such as torn hamstrings after having time off, so imagine how well go after being in lockdown f...or so long. Whether it be for team sports, running, walking, or returning to the gym, we can help make sure your body is ready. Click the following link for an appointment: https://www.physiopointcook.com.au/
