I always say to such client don’t worry, they’re too busy struggling with their own challenges to watch what you’re doing. Our perception that others are watching, or that they are even aware what how we are performing right next to them is so skewed and is more about our sense of self than our sense of others.... I mean, did you notice how poorly that student next to you was performing the hundred?... does anyone even do that exercise? 11.01.2022 Most of us come into this World with perfect health so it always fascinates me when people put health as a goal, like it is something that needs to be attained, something to strive for and something that may not be possible, hence putting it in the ‘hope for’ column. How is it that we have come to disassociate our very existence with a perfect bill of health, learnt to ask for permission to be healthy, to seek out advice from strangers on something that is our absolute birthright and should be assumed rather than hoped for? When did we stop understanding our own body enough to not hear the sounds of distress and instead turn to someone else for the answers we already know and how do we begin the conversation of self responsibility because when this happens, I believe this is the moment of truth and empowerment.
