17.01.2022 MONDAY - MIGHTY MOVEMENT! To kick off Women's Health Week we're talking about the importance of movement - that's right, exercise! The benefits cannot be overstated. As women's health physios we love talking exercise and how we can tailor it to you and your specific needs, likes and abilities. Why not celebrate the start of Women's Health Week by scheduling in a session this week!

06.01.2022 Pinnacle Physiotherapy - Clinic Update We are still open! Tonight’s address by the Prime Minister specifically mentioned Physiotherapy as one of the services that is allowed to continue at this stage. However, we’ve been making changes at the clinic daily in response to the latest available information. Our group classes have been cancelled for the remainder of the term. All current participants have received email communication regarding this. ... Please be assured that we are taking every precaution necessary with regard to hygiene and social distancing within the clinic. We’re working tirelessly to get our Telehealth consults hope and running, so if you are self isolating, please ask Tanya on reception to book you in for a Telehealth consult. You can also book a Telehealth consult via our website. Please do not attend the clinic if you are unwell - if in doubt, please call ahead. We will continue with our current strategy of staying up to date with the most current information and guidelines from both NSW Health and the Australian Government and take further action accordingly. In the mean time, please don’t hesitate to contact Tanya on 6362 6222 if you have any queries. Our thoughts are with everyone trying to navigate their way through such an unprecedented situation. 02.01.2022 As the weather warms up many of us swap from wearing enclosed supportive shoes and boots to flat, open shoes such as sandals and thongs. Sometimes this lack of arch support can cause heel, ankle, leg and even back pain or aggravate conditions such as plantar fasciitis and other neuropathies. If you are experiencing discomfort and your physio has ruled out any major issues the solution to this may be arch support thongs - designed to encourage optimal foot posture, a more natural gait and aid in whole body alignment. Pinnacle Physiotherapy stocks a range of the thongs in different colours and may assist you to put your best, supported foot forward to enjoy the rest of summer!
