15.01.2022 Spring is the season for growth and with that in mind The Pinnacle Studio has a new class designed by our Japanese Yoga instructor and we have decided to call it ‘Rehab Yogalates’. This is unlike any yogalates class you have done before. The Yoga component comes from Ryoho/Ki/Japanese Yoga, so the moves are energizing, powerful and productive. This is blended with traditional Pilates movements and modern exercise science techniques that focus on strengthening and stretchi...ng. Classes can range from strengthening your deep abdominals and pelvic floor, stretching and releasing typically tight and overworked areas of the body, working to strengthen areas of both upper and lower body and improving symmetry and posture. A fantastic session for general fitness and wellbeing and highly recommended by all our practitioners. This will replace our existing Tuesday 1pm class and we have added a Thursday 11am time as well.
13.01.2022 Join us this Sunday at the Breakfast Point Fair. Our instructors will be at our stall and we invite everyone to come and join in while we run short sessions to showcase our classes. We will confirm the classes and times during the week so keep an eye on our IG or FB page.
13.01.2022 Some of you may not know, but Gayle, the very first Pilates instructor to join our team a decade ago will no longer be teaching permanently at the clinic while she takes leave to look after her family. This is a see you soon, and not good bye, as she has promised to come back and fill in if we need but she can no longer commit full time. Gayle taught our Monday and Thursday night Matwork Pilates classes. With her departure, Naomi our resident female Physio will be adding a ...7pm Tuesday evening Pilates class to fill the gap starting Tuesday, 4th February. In the meantime she is running a Wednesday morning 7.30am class and Irene still has her Saturday morning 8.30am Matwork Pilates classes. 13.01.2022 Come visit us this Sunday, 15th September at the Breakfast Point Spring Fair on the Green! The Pinnacle Studio will have their own stall next to @pinnaclespineandsports where we will be hosting the PLANK CHALLENGE! Our record currently stands at 7 mins and 3 seconds. It would be amazing to see someone beat this time. If it happens we may even throw in a bonus prize for the new record holder!... We will be running classes at the stall to showcase the studio and hope you can all join us for a session or two! This will give you a chance to meet our instructors and learn more about our classes. Our kids yoga instructor Aisling ran this amazing group through a yoga theme park and an underwater adventure as they moved, jumped, balanced, swam, crawled and star-fished their way through the journey. All with a delicious and healthy morning tea thrown in too! The kids in our primary and preschool workshops had an absolut...e ball, many of whom were back again after being to workshops in the last couple of school holidays. Keep your eyes open for details next school holidays! 06.01.2022 Back in September we ran our #plankchallenge at the @breakfast.point.realty Spring Fair and we never got around to announcing our winner. Presenting our new champion showing us real grit and determination, Cody . Cody has entered our plank challenge on previous years so he knew what he was in for, he knew the record and he was set to break it! And break it he did, Cody planked for 12 minutes I was sure he would give up around the 5 minute mark but he proved himself to ...be a great competitor. We have had gymnasts that have planked for 9 minutes and we have been stunned but this was next level. We had to recognise his effort and we gave him a prize which redeemed in the holidays. He attended our Primary School Yoga Workshop with Aisling (second pic) which he loved, I think the morning tea was his favourite part. We hope to see you back at our next plank challenge and our yoga workshops.
