02.01.2022 1 YEAR it’s been a year since I set up The Pita Projekt, at the time, not knowing exactly what I was going to make of it hard work and a bit of fun, the last 12 months have been full but amazing! I have introduced 3 new flavours! Meat, Cherry + Nutella I have introduced our beautiful bake at home pite in 6 of our flavours - cheese, cheese and spinach, meat, apple, cherry + Nutella I bought a food trailer (WTF?!)... I learnt how to drive, hook up and set up the trailer I have tested and exceeded my own capacities - from making 24 pite a week, I now make 10 times as much I have kicked ass with 2 little kids in tow (yes I’m tired ) I have met so many beautiful people, had customers who have become friends and heard so many stories about how my pita has thrown people back to their childhood I have gotten my mum onboard with me and loved having her by my side on this journey I have been happy - thank you to my AMAZING husband for noticing this happiness and being my driving force I have been able to bank this as an extraordinary personal achievement which I’m always going to hold close to my heart I have taken this traditional delicacy that my beautiful baka (grandmother) and svekrva (mother in law) were so well accustomed to and shared it with you all! Thank you to everyone that has been a part of this journey with me! Coming from a Commerce background, business planning is a key principle familiar to me but I can admit this projekt has had no planning and has been driven by passion so far.
