24.01.2022 STUCK IN COOLGARDIE We have had a great time with all of these stranded guests, awesome lot of people, several different nationalities, we all had a big cook up tonight and a great day had by all.

But i have a duty of care to my residents who live and work here. We are taking the covid 19 virus serious, We are also protecting our community of Coolgardie, We apologize for any inconveince. 19.01.2022 We are devastated to hear the Breaking news, roads will remain closed as the Balladonia fire has now broken containment lines. We will continue to reduce our accomodation rates for those of you who are affected and stranded in Coolgardie, we would like to offer our air conditioned dining room, use of pool table, free coffee and tea, we also will be offering our washing machines and amenities block for showers to anybody stranded. 15.01.2022 Coolgardie to Adelaide main road is close due to a bush fire , we have around 35 trucks pulled over so far in Coolgardie . If you talking to a truck driver in town let then know they can come here for a shower and even have a coffee for free . We have limited room available at the moment. We hope the roads are open early so these true Aussies can have Christmas with there family.

15.01.2022 As most people know the roads are closed to Adelaide again. The place to stay will be doing breakfasts from 8am to 10am and it will be for free, we are completely book out so please be patient we will feed everyone that need a feed. I believe we got more trucks here now then over the last couple of days, .

14.01.2022 The Place To Stay Coolgardie , Going to be 40 degree today ,If anyone is stuck in Coolgardie and need a cool place to rest for a while the dining room will be open from 11am to 6pm today. There will be free coffee and tea, free hot showers and also there a laundromat on site to do your washing. I be doing some party pies and sausage rolls for lunch and also at no charge, we have got plenty of parking room on site. Meals are available at vibes, Devon, caltex, crib hut and gold rush motel. Coolgardie we are a small community but we got a big heart .

14.01.2022 ROAD CLOSURES - NORSEMAN FIRES There are significant road closures due to bushfires burning in the Shires of Coolgardie, Dundas and Widgiemooltha. If you ar...e travelling through the area, reduce your speed and drive carefully due to smoke and emergency services personnel working on or by the side of the road. Road Closures at 06:00PM 30/12/19: - Coolgardie Esperance Highway between Coolgardie and Norseman, including the Goldfields Highway (Kambalda turn-off) remains closed for the immediate future as it has been impacted by fire. - Coolgardie Esperance Highway between Norseman townsite and Gibson Dalyup Road, Gibson will be CLOSED TO ALL NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC from 1900hrs (7.00pm) tonight Monday 30th of December. This closure is due to pressures on services in Norseman townsite. This road will be reassessed in the morning. - Eyre Highway between Norseman townsite and Caiguna will be closed from 1900hrs (7.00pm) tonight Monday 30th of December due to the impact of fire and smoke across the road. This road will be reassessed in the morning. - Hyden-Norseman Road between Marvel Loch-Forrestania Road and the Norseman townsite. This road closure is due to falling trees and debris. 06.01.2022 Client Review that was emailed in. Review... Room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Shower hot and smelled nice. No mould. Towels nice and fluffy. Great that they take pets. Water bottles were a nice touch.

04.01.2022 What very accomdating hosts. We arrived very late at night after vacating our rental in Baldivis on our way moving to Qld with our Ragdoll and Shitzu x Maltese ...young dog in tow. Both humans very tired strained angry towards each other and sleeping in the car really wasnt a sensible option neither was driving. These people at this cold late hour squeezed another bed into a room for us so we had somewhere clean and safe with our pets. It was clean and well priced for the style of accommodation and well the best showers that both my husband and I have ever had even compared to some of the 4.5 star motels we have stayed in. Highly recommended to any budget travellers and people with pets. See more

If anybody needs then they are $50 a night share toilet block and shower block All money from these single rooms will be donate to the Coolgardie firebrigade.
