25.01.2022 If you had been planning on attending The Planting earlier this year, we reckon Bushtime is where you’ll want to close out 2020. There’ll be a generous collection of artisan workshops for all ages, Discovery Labs and Citizen Science projects, a General Store full of goodies, a few bars and food stalls and lashings of musical talent hitting the stage. On top of all this, the beautiful Lake Gkula will be open daily for lengthy swims, snorkelling alongside the native fish, or lounging on the beach with a good book. Select your preferred dates and grab your tickets here: https://woodfordia.org/bushtime/tickets/ #bushtime #woodfordia #thisisqueensland Visit Queensland, Australia

On a Discover Woodfordia’s Lichens adventure, at Bushtime, one participant asked whether the lichen outgrowth seen in the pics below was a new growth. Then he touched it and it began to move!!!

02.01.2022 Ever heard of bryophytes? Of course you have - the tiny plants we call mosses, liverworts and hornworts. These ancient plants created our atmosphere yet hardly anyone knows anything about them, except for Andrew Franks. This is your chance to ask Andrew anything you want about bryophytes in the comments below as he presents some fascinating facts about them this week at Bushtime at the Forest Woodfordia venue :)
