25.01.2022 Weight loss is a combination of MANY different factors... Today I'll cover a couple of reasons that I commonly see affecting people, that could be affecting you too.

24.01.2022 ? A common question people ask when they consider going plant based. Believe it or not, the answer is dead simple.... . . Think about it... The milk cow doesn’t drink the milk of another species to get her calcium, neither does she ‘make’ it - she gets hers from the plants she eats The beef cow doesn’t eat the flesh of another species to get his protein, neither does he ‘make’ it - he gets it from the plants he’s fed Animals don’t make vitamins (A, B, C, D, etc) vitamins come from plant foods (or the sun, in case of D)... Animals don’t make minerals either (iron, zinc, magnesium, etc) these come from rocks, soil and water... Anything you do get from an animal is simply recycled (and comes with a lot of nasty stuff too...). ? Cut out the ‘middle-being’, as it were... Then when you take nutrient-poor animal products off your plate, and replace them with nutrient dense plants guess what?? You get even MORE nutrients than you were getting before. 20.01.2022 . . It’s a way of saying I think it’s too expensive, therefore I’m not going to consider it.... (It’s also a way of criticising those living a plant powered life for being hipster w*nker snobs Hey, I used to think it once myself before I jumped ship). ’ . The truth is that the staple foods of a whole foods, plant based diet are incredibly cheap, and have been staples for the developing world for millions of years. They’re still cheap today, especially when bought in bulk. They’re rich in nutrients, and very filling, so you don’t actually need to eat much! Tubers, root vegetables, grains, legumes... Potatoes, rice, beans, lentils For centuries this food has been considered peasant food. . Today, the diet of the western world is sadly lacking in veges & fibre, and look what’s happened to our health. You don’t have to switch to plant based eating to reap the benefits - cut down on the expensive and disease-promoting meats, dairy and processed junk, and get a sh*t tonne more cheap-ass, filling and high-fibre veges on your plate. (And no, whole food carbs don’t make you fat or cause diabetes - if you wanna know more about these topics, lemme know, and I’ll give you some info). See more

She’s a mum with 2 kids, who require her constant attention, from home schooling to meal times, yet she made the time in her life to make her health a priority. 02.01.2022 , . Sorry, but the painful truth is that to become the person we want to be, who deserves the goals that we set ourselves. ...we need to change who we are today.... This goes for any goal you set in life - be it health, business, fitness ? When we set ourselves HUGE goals to achieve, we need to acknowledge that the person we are today is only capable of having what we have today We need to evolve to become the person who can handle achieving the goals we’ve set for ourselves. You also need to recognise that you are going to face CHALLENGES along your journey, as the universe conspires to TEST your resolve for wanting to achieve these goals. Who you show up as, and how you deal with these roadblocks, sends a signal to not only your own mind and body... ...it sends a vibration to the universe to show whether or not you are committed and serious about wanting to achieve your goals or not. So, if you’ve set yourself some huge-ass goals, and you want to achieve them so freakin bad, you’ll do anything.... Then do this for me: 1 Visualise your future self, having achieved all your goals 2 Imagine stepping into your future self’s body right now - breathing with your future self’s lungs, seeing with your future self’s eyes, feeling with your future self’s feelings 3 Go really fucking deep and understand what habits, beliefs and identity your future self had to adopt in order to achieve these goals. Now, come back to you current self and write down for me: The top 10 habits you need to embrace NOW to become your future self The top 10 beliefs you need to embrace NOW to become your future self The top 10 character traits you need to embrace NOW to become your future self Read out loud (or record yourself reading them, and listen to) these habits, beliefs and character traits every. single. morning. until you actually BELIEVE they are you and you start to actually EMBODY the new version of you.
