25.01.2022 Turn gingerbread into holly. This post shows you how: http://bit.ly/2DHvwPw

23.01.2022 I’ve decluttered and reorganised our bathroom vanities today (post will come next week) and in one of the drawers of the kids bathroom was my old hair straightener. The kids bathroom accumulates with the stuff I don’t use anymore. If I let my hair dry naturally, it goes curly and wavy, but because it’s so thick I find straightening helps me manage it. So when hair straighteners came out when I was a late teen, I was an early adopter of the new technology. It’s probably t...ime to let this baby go though... I’m sure you could cook a cheese toastie in it! It’s that big, but I’m definitely NOT going to try. You can read about my history with hair straighteners on this post: https://www.theplumbette.com.au//first-hair-straightener-/ Is there an old appliance you’ve kept which you haven’t been able to part with?

22.01.2022 We got given a lot of colouring in books for Christmas. The kids love to colour in, so I've used a dish rack to set up a colouring in station on the coffee table. It's a great way to display the books, stickers and craft books the kids may have forgotten about. https://bit.ly/3n2BQ6p

21.01.2022 Here are 5 ways to style your bathroom on a budget.

21.01.2022 I thought we had moved on from pink... but this pretty in pink bathroom proves it can be used effectively with black cabinetry and gold tapware. Also, no matter what the current trends are, go for what you love as this Brisbane couple have done.

19.01.2022 I’d gladly relax here! Anyone on here own a plunge pool?

19.01.2022 My last post failed because the link back to the sale didn’t work! But how clever is this?! An outdoor bath with handles and castor wheels which can be moved around the backyard. I found it on Facebook Marketplace(FM), located in Brisbane. If you type outdoor bath in FM, it will bring the listing up and you can order one to be made too.

18.01.2022 I love seeing what people display in their homes. It certainly turns a house into a home. Or do you prefer to have minimal decor out?

12.01.2022 I went through both bathroom vanity cupboards on the weekend and I've got the before and after photos in my latest post, the link is below. It's a pleasing feeling to see some sort of order in the bathroom cupboards. Even the girls are amazed with the extra space, which is not an encouragement to refill it! https://bit.ly/359AeBY

11.01.2022 This is our kids playroom, which we’ve finally finished improving as it used to look like a kindy disaster zone with an explosion of colour on the walls and floors. It’s a hard room to photograph as its dark during the morning but gets the afternoon sun streaming through from the laundry door. To my shock, it was my dad who suggested I needed a plant to finish it off. ... The artwork and planter pouch are by Brisbane artists: Hayley Wills and McKenzie HOUSE. If you’re after some planter pouches for your indoor plants, I’ve updated this post with the best suppliers. https://www.theplumbette.com.au//where-to-get-stylish-fab/

10.01.2022 Use copper to make a Star Light. You could also use sticks/branches for a rustic look. This post shows you how: http://bit.ly/2AkPBqu

10.01.2022 I'm not sure what Facebook has been hearing in my conversations but in my newsfeed, I've had a heck of a lot of adds for air fresheners. Did you know you can actually make your own with natural products? The link to my post has the recipe. It's also a great spray for refreshing linen too. ... http://bit.ly/2IqRdED
