Congratulations Stu and Clare Modra on receiving honourable mention in an extraordinary mature cow class. Also congratulations to Anthony McDonald on his 4th place in the 3year old class with Mackerdoo Goldchip Lucy, daughter of The Points Informer Lucy.

22.01.2022 So pleased for the Modra family on their success at IDW with The Points Ernesto Pam finishing 4th in an incredible mature cow class. Stu Modra and Clare purchased Pam at the Western District Sub-branch Sale in 2011 and we are thrilled that she has developed so well for them. We wish them plenty more success in the future with Pam!

14.01.2022 MABLE’S BACK! Redesign Mable surprised us this morning, calving early with a Maintime heifer - her 6th heifer calf in a row! Not bad for a cow that’s never been joined to sexed semen. It will be great to have her back fresh and leading the herd again. We’re very excited to see her Solomon embryo’s calve in the next few weeks...

13.01.2022 Thanks to Holstein Australia for acknowledging one of our all time favourite cows - The Points Bossiron Marg ‘Megsie’. Almost 18 years old and she’s still keeps paying her way.

10.01.2022 The latest addition to The Points... Blueprint Cheif TONIO! We're looking forward to welcoming this fancy young heifer into our herd. Thanks to Dave Weel for making Tonio available. In 2013 we purchased a heifer from Dave at the Colac Showcase Sale, Blueprint Braxton Celia. 6 years on and Celia (now VG89) continues to shine for us with her beautiful temperament and 3 maternal daughters all cookie cutters of their dam, including The Points Nody Celia who scored GP84 last year on her first lactation. 05.01.2022 The Points Honeybee Lorraine has kicked off calving season with a Scenario heifer calf We’re excited to be adding to this cow family after Lorraine's maternal sister, The Points Maintime Lorraine, won All Australian heifer at both the Heytesbury Show and Western District Calf Show.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to Anthony McDonald on his success with Mackerdoo Goldchip Lucy. Lucy is the daughter of The Points Informer Lucy VG 88 (xThe Points Gibbon Lucy EX91 3E) purchased by Mackerdoo Pastoral in 2010. The Lucy family has bred successfully in our herd for generations and we certainly hope it continues to thrive in the Mackerdoo herd.
