24.01.2022 It is amazing what you learn from clients. Thanks to Marco Di Maio from Impresa for three things about QR codes you probably didn't’ know about: (1) If you have a phone no older than 3 years, you need NO APP to read QR codes. Most likely, you will be able to simply use your phone camera: point at the QR code as if you are taking a photo, a banner will pop-up on your display, tap on that banner and voila! Alternatively, Google Chrome browser comes with an in-built QR scanner... (2) Opening a website is only 1 of 8 different things a QR code can do for you. Can you name the other 7? (3) QR codes we see out there are so terribly ugly our brain refuses to even take notice of them. Thing is, it doesn't have to be that way! 17.01.2022 Checking into businesses with a COVID-Safe Plan using a QR code comes into effect from the 1st of December. These businesses will have been sent a QR code to print out for customers to scan. Customers will need to download the mySAgov app or there will be a paper recording log for those customers that do not have a smart phone.
