10.01.2022 A big Happy New Year to everyone, especially those parents who can now officially say we are expecting our baby THIS YEAR It gives me great joy having the opportunity to help more parents approach a positive birth experience this year. 2020 has proven that we don’t always know what turn our journeys may take but a new year provides a time to reflect, plan, set new goals and adjust our sails to best suit our dreams. So my question to you is, what type of birth are you pl...anning to have? With just over one week to go until my first class of 2021 starts, I know I am ready for this next chapter to begin!

08.01.2022 Four years later and this book is still my go-to for understanding my children’s sleep behaviours. When I was expecting my first born in 2017, we had ... three separate friends recommend this book and I have been grateful ever since. Not every child is the same and not every method works but Tizzie Hall’s recommendations helped me support my children’s natural sleeping habits while giving my husband and I the much needed rest we required as new parents My third and youngest child is now 7 months old and sleeping through the whole night (7pm to 7am) Searching and finding out what works for your family is all part of the journey. Parents tend to put so much pressure on themselves to make the right decisions. Having three kids has shown me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to parenthood. It’s been a whirlwind juggling three kids under three years old and I’m here for it! #saveoursleep #saveourcoffee #tizziehall #sleepsettling #newborn #sleepbehavior #hypnobirthing #positivebirth

01.01.2022 I love the excitement this season brings Reflecting on the year that has been, and what is to come in 2021 The new year brings a wonderful new partnership for me with Joelene Gathercole and the team at Goodlife Physiotherapy. From January, I’ll be running my classes from their beautiful clinic here in Traralgon, Gippsland. It brings me great joy in offering parents a modern space that provides an atmosphere of relaxation and quality. During class, we’ll now have ac...cess to products like birthing balls for expecting women to relax on while learning how to achieve their own positive birth experience. At Goodlife Physio, they fully embrace the importance of women’s health and well-being. Supporting the health and happiness of mothers is one of the core reasons why I started this business. So long, 2020 ... Hello 2021 #birthingclass #antenatalclass #positivebirth #hypnobirthing #goodlifephysio #newyear

01.01.2022 Most people ask for advice when they want it. Unfortunately for a lot of pregnant women, advice is given whether they want it or not. Sometimes sprinkled with a hint of judgement, the imposed opinions of others often creates a perception in our society that pregnant women don't know any better. "Can I make you a hot drink?" "Would you like a coffee? Are you allowed to have caffeine?"... "Please enjoy this antipasto platter" "I made sure to get some hard cheeses so you can eat them too" Small adjustments like these can not only make a positive change to the way pregnant women see themselves and their own choices but also the way they are viewed and treated in our society "When you empower a woman, you empower a family, a community, an indeed a nation" - Cherie Blair #empoweringwomen #positivebirth #hypnobirthing #pregnancyadvice
