25.01.2022 Walking for my wellbeing today at North Beach #selfcare #positiveemotions

25.01.2022 Friday feels! Getting started with my Christmas shopping. Writing a list and checking it twice!

24.01.2022 Be a little kinder, do a little kindness! @buddhadoodles #kindness #positivity

22.01.2022 Hi everyone, Im doing the Sugar Free Me Challenge as part of The Positivity Institute Team and would love it if you sponsored this very worthy cause. I'm 1 day down, but thanks to Halloween, have loads of chocolates and lollies left over, making this very tempting, but I'm determined to see this through!

17.01.2022 Another project added to the Tah Dah List. It’s the little things that bring me such joy. It feels great to take something old and make it new again. #positiveemotions #diyprojects

17.01.2022 This course is for anyone who teaches courses and wants what they teach to stick with their students Unleash Learning

14.01.2022 It's my day off today and I'm taking some time for me. It's easy to put yourself last in the long list of people to please, overdue house-work, emails not read, dogs not walked and jobs not done. Today my mantra is "Self-care is Self-preservation" I hope you take the time today to do something just for you! #positiveemotions #selfcare #fridayfeels

13.01.2022 Don't get caught up with what happened yesterday. Today is a new day, start again with good choices and make each day a little better than the day before. #positiveemotions #goodhabits

12.01.2022 Another great session on Cultivating wellbeing habits with Duncan Young Happiness & Its Causes Takeaways 1. Plan today to execute tomorrow. 2. Small changes, consistently practised, make a big difference over time. 3. 6 X 5 mins burst of exercise as an alternative to a session of 30 mins of exercise.

11.01.2022 Wondering what you can do in this uncertain time? How about you support some local businesses, people or places that have inspired you, given you great service, made you think differently, given you a spot to sit and enjoy a good coffee, cooked for you or supplied goods that were just what you needed!!! I'm supporting a lovely lady I met through a Positive Psychology Group in Wollongong. She is a teacher and has been for over 25 years and through her studies of Positive Ps...ychology, she has created a Parenting Course which focuses on Strengths. Please check her out. She has a free module that you can do on her website and is running short workshops later in the year in Shellharbour. If you have children and you'd like to learn positive strategies to help with your parenting this could be for you! https://strengthbasedparentingandkids.com.au/free-module #supportlocal See more

10.01.2022 Curiosity got the better of me!!! Lovely little spot in Tarrawanna.

10.01.2022 The many positive moments when working from home. Today’s guest! #positiveemotions #nature #workingfromhome

10.01.2022 Doing some Saturday Strategy with The Positivity Institute, but first pumping up our positive emotions with some forest bathing and dog patting. #positiveemotions #shinrinyoku #ilovemyjob

09.01.2022 Great session with Maria Sirois this morning Happiness & Its Caus Live Stream. My 3 take-aways: 1. Best moment of the day. 2. 3 things to look forward to tomorrow. 3. The importance of self-care and asking yourself what inspires, nurtures or strengthens me?

08.01.2022 I'm popping into Wollongong today to do a short course in "Creating in Canva" with ProAdmin Solutions at the The Consortium Lounge and saw this City of Wollongong initiative called The Grateful Portrait Project. I snapped a couple of the photographs below. Gratitude is such an easy way to make ourselves feel better and it doesn't have to be anything big, think about all the little things that spark joy in your life. What are you grateful for today?

06.01.2022 Love this so much, thanks Judith Anne Lyttle for sharing!

04.01.2022 Happiness & Its Causes thanks so much for a great session. Main take-aways. 1. Presillience - taking the time to plan for the curve-balls in life, by thinking about what resources and strengths you have in your toolbox. Then making sure you have a way of remembering your plan in the midst of your crisis. 2. Do a pre-mortum and act like the crisis has happened and work out what you can do about it. 3. Optimal Support Mapping - what do people really need from me when they’re asking for help?

03.01.2022 So, so, sooooo true. I can’t and you can’t be everything to everybody. Thanks for the nudge @nikkimiles_ and thanks @actionhappiness for sharing #boundaries #selfcare

02.01.2022 Any early childcare educators- time to learn self care strategies. Look after yourself so you are energised for your kids!

02.01.2022 On my walk today around Tarrawanna I discovered a new Tea Garden. Will be my next #wfh destination.

02.01.2022 It’s such a lovely day so popped out to Bunnings to get some plants. Potted and the bees are already buzzing! #positiveemotions #bees

02.01.2022 If you want what you teach to stick with your learners have a look at this course. You’ll learn great strategies to increase the transfer of training. #teachers #facilitators #coursecreation

01.01.2022 I’m all about list making, checklists, to-dos, ta-dahs and journaling (daily, weekly or whenever). I also love having somewhere lovely to capture all of my thoughts, ideas and goals. At The Positivity Institute you can get these lovely refillable journals. So once you’ve jammed packed one journal you can slot in another and always have the cover to remind you to keep positive. #journaling #positivity #mybestself #wellbeing
