23.01.2022 CHRISTMAS UPDATE We're on the count down to Christmas..... end of year catch ups, kids finishing school (and kinder) and a little bit of craziness after a year that turned us upside down. Here's what is happening at The Store....... * Tuesday 15th (tomorrow) we are hosting our annual The Produce Store Artisan Christmas Market from 4 - 7pm. A fun way to finish off some gift shopping (for others or yourself!) and meet some local creative clever people * Open every day up until Christmas Eve. Come for a coffee, a lunch catch up with friends, a quiet cake treat or to finish off your shopping. Hampers available! * Christmas Day - CLOSED * Boxing Day - CLOSED * Sunday 27th onwards - open as usual. Please remember to book as it's busy and we'd hate for you to miss out!

We are so very excited about our The Produce Store Artisan Christmas Market next Tuesday 4pm til 7pm - over 20 stallholders setting up at our Store ready to help you with your shopping. Come along for a catch up, a glass of wine and to finish off your Chrissy shopping with beautiful locally crafted gifts.... We'll also have our hampers ready to go! 14.01.2022 HAMPERS GALORE! A little bit of this and a little bit of that..... the easiest way to create a gift for the trickiest of people! Whether it is a foodie's dream or a breakfast delight hamper you are looking to put together - drop in and have a chat.... Why not combine a bottle of wine (or cider, or bubbles, or gin.... the list is endless) with a tasty nibble or two? We'll put it together AND wrap it - you just have to pick it up and have the fun of giving. PS - we'll be open a little later tomorrow night (Friday 4th) for take away coffee & cake whilst you wander the Shop Local Christmas market. We also have our very own Artisan Christmas Market on Tuesday 15th Dec from 4pm - 7pm.

07.01.2022 A night of live theatre? On Saturday night THIS WEEK? YES! You can come to a small audience, BIG impact, wonderful little show. We're really excited to be hosting a production by Backyardtheatreensemble BYTE - this one has been a long time coming to make it to Mansfield! (We've tried 3 times over the last year)... THE WEIGHT OF DUCKS sees playwright Jessica battle writer’s block and the absence of creativity. She has invented a character, Sally, who is a little underdeveloped but nonetheless invades Jess’s world. The play explores reality, dreams and what it means to a part of the creative industries. It is satirical and full of original songs that the characters sing, when speaking is not enough anymore. The piece has a collage feel, channelling Monty Python, Greek Theatre, Musical Theatre and philosophy. In other words: a healthy mix of madness. THE WEIGHT OF DUCKS is a new theatre piece devised by the 2020-ensemble and Joachim Matschoss with music by young composer Robert Downie. It is presented by BYTE (BackYardTheatreEnsemble), an independent company that produces theatre dedicated to devised issue-based work nationally and internationally for many years. THE WEIGHT OF DUCKS will be shown on a bare stage with an ensemble of three actors/singers. This is a piece of theatre that is part comic, moving and thought-provoking. 03.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR! We're open from 8.30am to welcome in 2021. No big promises (we're treading carefully here!!) except for fabulous food, your daily caffeine fix and plenty of love from our Proddi family.... We'll be closing at 4pm (kitchen at 2.30pm) today - as per our normal public holiday hours. Back to "normal" again tomorrow! PS please remember to wear a mask when you are inside

02.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR'S We're closing early tomorrow at 4pm so our kitchen will shut for meals at 2.30pm. If you're planning a catch up to farewell 2020 then please get in early!... If you're celebrating tomorrow night - make a visit to our wine room for a bottle then fill a basket with goodies for your own Ploughman's platter. Easy! PS We'll be back on deck for 8.30am Friday if you're feeling a little dusty.... Nothing blows away the cobwebs better than coffee!!
