21.01.2022 With photos this time! There is a friendly female greyhound available to adopt. She is a lovely therapy dog! A sweet 3 year old. Good with other dogs. Her name is Barby (although responds more to ‘come’ than her name - so this could be changed when you adopt her, just saying). She enjoys coming to The Psychology Space and has a playful happy energy. She doesn’t bark, jump or pull on the lead. Barby loves to snuggle! She is currently living with some very assertive cats. Let me know if you would like to meet her. You can apply for her via this link http://www.nowradogs.org.au/adoption/application-to-adopt/

18.01.2022 There was a burst water main across the road from The Psychology Space and flooded our rooms. So random. It was directed straight into our door way. We've relocated upstairs while the place is being dried out. It's very smelly downstairs and I hope the carpet gets replaced. Not too many losses and probably better us than the medical centre and chemist next door, where there would have been more damage. Meanwhile there are extractor fans going 24/7 downstairs and all our stuff has been moved. It's a bit of an adventure really. Everyone has been so helpful and kind.

18.01.2022 Please share this? Would anyone like to adopt a beautiful greyhound? We have been fostering him since Good Friday. He is a wonderful companion, full of unconditional love. His name is Mo, short for Dynamo! I call him Moet (after the champagne). He enjoys snuggles and cuddles but not in a demanding way. Moet has all the attributes of his breed, gentle and placid. Wants to play with cat, pulls on the lead with excitement a little but soon calms down. His racing name was Worrige...e Road - and he did pretty good. At only 4 years old it is his time to retire. We are working directly with Shoalhaven Racing Club to help with animal welfare and they are very supportive! If you adopt Mo, they will continue to assist you. When you go away they will mind Mo while you’re on holidays for his lifetime and for free! Also they do not want to charge you anything for Mo but we will need to check out your place. He will come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated etc. He is everything you need even if you don’t know it!! Please share widely. Will be great to find him a forever home, We can bring him for a meet and greet! Thank you! See more

18.01.2022 If you’re submitting a claim for JobSeeker Payment you can do this online 24/7. We’re experiencing intermittent issues online but online service capacity is be...ing increased and we encourage you to apply in the period ahead. We’re asking the community to look after themselves. That means not coming into our offices unless there is a critical need to be there. Please check our website for the most up to date information: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/COVID19

16.01.2022 Trauma/ Media / Fires Please note that exposing yourself (and especially your kids) to rolling footage of the fires won't help you or anyone experiencing these ...fires. Idea: stay informed by choosing one or two reputable sources of information and setting a time limit to your exposure. Donate and help if you can. Check in on those affected if you can. Take political action. But turn the TV/radio/socials off sometimes. The "September 11 Effect" is very real: take breaks. With love and in solidarity, Nelly xxx
