23.01.2022 And I’m back I took a little break from this account for a few reasons. Busy juggling the girls (life gets so much busier once the baby is on the move!), busy with my other biz and I also just needed a break from all the perfectly polished posts on my feed. I felt like I needed these posts to look perfect too and I just don’t have time for that. So once I let go of that pressure and reduced my time on social media (plus removed some ‘fake’ accounts) I finally felt like ...there was space for me to pop back into these squares. And no better time than a DIY refill day. I topped up some rollerbottle blends, made a new batch of my cough mix and a new foaming face wash and body wash. It always feels so good to make my own products and I love that they generally all need refilling around the same time which saves me time in end. 11.01.2022 The Toddler Tamer blend helped so much with the toddler tantrums but it just wasn’t cutting it for the threenager ‘tude. I’ve been layering the Toddler Tamer blend (Balance and Citrus Bliss) with the Magnolia Touch and it has definitely been helping with this defiant stage. I layer the blends along the back of her neck and spine and also rub some in her hands and ask her to breathe. I love using Magnolia for her but really I use it for myself. Emotionally, it is the oil of Co...mpassion so after roller some on my 3 year old I roll some on my pulse points and use this as a reminder to be compassionate. Our young ones are little people with big emotions and even we struggle managing our emotions so it’s easy to understand why they do too. 03.01.2022 Brushing my 3 year old’s hair can be a bit of a mission. Distraction is a must so getting her to brush her doll’s hair is working well. My other essential is my DIY detangling spray: 1-2 teaspoons hair conditioner a splash of apple cider vinegar... 2 drops lavender essential oil 2 drops tea tree essential oil 2 drops rosemary essential oil top with distilled water Using this spray makes it so much easier to brush through knotty hair.
