25.01.2022 L-R ST, RT and F3 the ST has the heaviest of the 3 springs at 12mm, the Rts 10mm as it also has an airbag to aide the suspension, but the F3s (11mm) shockie amazes me, well I suppose the spring is really only there to keep the shockie from collapsing and your arse off the ground ;)

24.01.2022 A good day for a couple of older bikes today, an 2008 RS and a 2009 RT-S both in good condition for there ages (Y) Both now have new Sway bars and the wheels are now turning where they should be!

23.01.2022 Had a great day in the new Rabbit Hutch ;) Oil and Coolant change as well as a LED high beam upgrade On Rob Martinellis 2010 RT, the Infamous AC/DC spectacula...r! Checked and adjusted the alignment on Kevins RT after he hit a big pothole! Yes it was out but not super bad!!! Then a new Sway bar and an alignment on Tims Triple Black F3 (Y) Tim & Kevin both asked how often or when should they get their next wheel alignment! Well Im here to help you maintain that Spyder Ryder feeling! so if you notice abnormal wear, or when you get new tyres, or if you hit a huge pothole!! From Julie and my experience most Spyders in good service could get 50,000km from a set of front tyres and 20,000km from a rear tyre From our 8 1/2 years of Can Am experience we have found that tyre pressures vary between regions and riders! but for us, we run 22-24psi front and 32psi rear The weather is cooling and some awesome rallies are coming up! 19.01.2022 Another great weekend in the Rabbit Hutch Always enjoy meeting new people and new riders :) Stephen brought in his new to him 2010 Rt Techno for a sway bar, laser alignment and oil change the bike was in great condition for its age and mileage 4700km! Wheel alignment was out to buggery! Toed out half inch on the left and 3/4 inch on the right that explains the new rubber on the front!!... Unfortunately for me Im an honest person and let him know that he already had a heavier than Standard bar fitted; not mine :( but the American one, so we went with the alignment for now and see if that fixes the wandering! Now talking about other bars than ours!! Woody decided to upgrade the bar on his 2011 RTs and it appears that the previous owner had done that or they thought they had! After I removed the bar it looked like it was rusting under the paint/powder coating? and after measuring it was somewhere between 15mm & 16mm? a stock bar on the RT is 16mm At the Rabbit Works! You wont get ripped off with inferior or same as standard bars and parts! Hey did you know that the Boss got a new Spyder!? An awesome deal from Simon at Beaches Sea-Doo and Can-Am on a 2020 F3-S in Liquid Titanium and I scored the hand me down 2016 F3

16.01.2022 You know I love working on the different Spyders! Well I had a 05/13 RT-L in today, Swaybar, Align and fit a set of those missing OEM Front Shockie adjusters The 2013 RT is a Hybrid or should I say FREAK Late model frame but a 991 vTwin The frame has all the fittings for the 1330 engine and body parts and some really fancy adaptions for the vTwin so they could sell the bike till the 1330 bike was released! Now I am sure I have fitted a bar to one of these bikes before...! I have done 2012 and 2013 but, Nope not this one!!!! These bikes will be a collectors bike down the track!!!! Now while I am here :O well these add in Shockie Preload adjusters are a good thing!! If you have a bike that has non-adjustable preload shock absorbers then I would certainly look at fitting a set of these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See more

09.01.2022 Well last weekends shed day was great! Been a while since Julie and I held one! So now the shed is being raised and a new one is being erected! Anyone free this coming weekend to come over and help strip out the old shed as demolition starts on Monday! Depending on what type of job you need down and the progress we may be closed for up to a month while the renovation takes place.

08.01.2022 So we decided to fit a set of Two Brothers twin mufflers to the F3 1330cc! in total we lost about 14kg! There has been a lot of talk about removing the Catalytic converter, really this is a big mistake, especially on the 1330cc triples! By All means remove the Cat and fit a lighter and better sounding system!! By removing the cat you create 2 issues, 1: these systems are designed to run with a cat and what is in reality a primary muffler that creates back pressure up front!!... You could run a straight through pipe off that sucker without a great amount of extra noise!! 2: you breach the EPA laws in a number of jurisdictions!! So whats an easy fix!? Fit a lightweight Cat something like the 100cpi Ballistic sports Cat or a hotdog up front and then a good lightweight muffler! This is the system on our 2016 F3! We decided to fit a set of Two Brothers twin mufflers and a Ballistic Sports Catalytic converter, in total we lost about 14kg! System build was by SureFlo Exhaust at Ingleburn NSW http://www.surefloexhaust.com.au/

04.01.2022 Gees just cant work it out! If they actually assemble and check these bike presale why are there guys like me around? Fitted one of our Signature swaybars and a very speccie Wilbers rear shockie to Micks 2016 F3s triple black today, well it was pointing left and I mean pointing left! Out by an inch (25.4mm) on the left wheel and 3/4 on the right

04.01.2022 It was great to catch up with Bob today, hes got this spectacular new Red F3T limited with the full kit (RT3L ) Well the alignment was out to buggery and not a great deal of air in the tyres, why do the dealers do this Well after an alignment (32mm toed out on the left and an extra 5mm toed in on the right) his Spyder is better than a new bike Now talking about air pressure in your tyres! I personally recommend 25psi in the front tyres and 32psi in the rear tyre, ...these pressures work perfectly for us, but they may not work for you, so play around with them to find what suits best, the recommended pressure by BRP is 15psi and 28psi.
