08.01.2022 Today is World Down Syndrome Day.....do you have a spare $7.50 Josee and her Mum Joelle are very special to the Therabubble family as Josee, aka Queen Josee, was our very first Little Aussie Superhero. Yesterday was the day that Josee and Joelle were supposed to talk to her class about the day and to give each classmate a pair of socks. Not just any socks but the brightly coloured official LOTS OF SOCKS logo socks! ... See Down Syndrome Queensland Sadly Josee has been unwell and having to stay away from school for an extended period. Therefore, they plan to give the socks out and present to the students in October for World Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Josee will talk about her diagnosis and how each and every one of her classmates plays an important role for her future, through inclusion and acceptance. The socks have arrived but Josee and Joelle haven't quite reached their goal of being able to give all 54 classmates a pair. They are only about $200 short! Any additional money that is raised, Josee and Joelle will donate directly to Down Syndrome Queensland who deliver the socks. Josee (Josee Hope) brightens people's lives around the world daily, and has been doing so since she was little. Can you help to brighten her day while she is sick at home during World Down Syndrome Day for which she is such a big advocate. Are you able to spare a $7.50 donation to ensure every classmate can receive their socks and be part of educating people on inclusion and acceptance for all. Donations can be made by Paypal to the account below [email protected] OR You can PM us for direct debit bank account details Lastly, if you are a Mum or Dad of a child in Josee's class please keep this under wraps! #rockyoursocks #lotsofsocks #QueenJosee #socks #chromosomes #21 #trisomy21 #wdsd2020 #downsyndrome
