11.01.2022 Does your child struggle "to keep their engine at the right speed?" Did you know Therapy Moves are registered examiners for the Sensory Profile 2? This standardised test is a measure of childrens responses to sensory events in daily life. It provides an overall picture of a childs sensory processing patterns. Eight main areas of sensory input are examined, including auditory, visual, activity level, taste/smell, body position, movement, touch and emotional/social.... The Sensory Profile is suitable for children aged 3 to 14 years, and is super useful in examining the sensory needs of children on the Autism Spectrum. 01.01.2022 Been super quiet on here, busy with so many lovely new paediatric and adult clients. Heres one of my fave things in my box of fun gross motor toys for therapy and assessment. Fuzz face balls from Kmart Australia, soft and cute its much easier for less confident catchers. And I constantly have to put it back in my kit after my own kids take it out to play with
