25.01.2022 Kingscliff Triathlon Sunday 24th November. Earlier in March this year before becoming an official Multisport club we attended Kingscliff Triathlon. It wasn’t your normal club race where we all turn up and compete individually. We had 30 people so we decided 10 teams was the go. But everyone’s name went into a hat and teams were drawn at random and even your leg was drawn at random. Following the success we are back for RPM Kingy Tri Team Draft 2.0... If you are yet to become a member of RPM and would love to be involved on the day you can become a member for as little as $45 for the year which includes a free hat and all the benefits from all our sponsors. The draft will be run slightly different this time around - further details will be given shortly. But I can tell you it’s going to be a lot of fun and there will be plenty of banter. And this time out your legs (swim, bike and run) are not chosen for you at random - this time, you and your teammates organise who is doing what leg! If you have mates, training buddies, family members, boyfriends, girlfriends, who you think would love to be involved in this fun filled action packed event, get them signed up and we will add them to the draft. As usual, prizes and bragging rights will be up for grabs! Along with the prestigious RPM Shield! As mentioned - more detailed info will be posted very soon. If you want to be a part of the upcoming Kingy Draft, nominate yourself in the comments section below to this post and we can assist you to be a part of the day. We are really excited with the finished product and can't wait to be wearing it at all the upcoming events.... We only have a window of a week to get our orders in. 19.01.2022 Introducing our running coach - Nigel Hyland RPMS are extremely lucky to have a running coach of Nigel’s caliber. Nigel has had an athletic career that spans over 45 years. He has certainly waked the walk. At the peak of his career he was competitive from 5km to the marathon at state and national level. With a marathon pb of 2hr 27mins and a 10km pb of 30.30 mins he certainly knows what it takes to reach the top level. ... Nigel’s coaching accreditation’s include; Level 1 community athletic coach Level 2 intermediate club coach Level 3 advanced club coach Level 3 IAAF coach middle and long distance IAAF Kids Nestle basic, intermediate and advanced athletics, running, jumping & throwing coach. If you are wanting to lose weight, improve your fitness, train for an up coming race or race competitively, Nigel is more than happy to give you his time. 18.01.2022 We are excited to announce that we have continued our partnership with Coby and Nikki at Uber Shape gym at Burleigh. These guys jumped on board when we incorporated just over 12 months ago when we became an official club and have been a great support with our first year growth. Their gym classes have enabled our members to build important strength for all the swimming, biking and running. We have taken the relationship up a notch and Uber Shape will now feature on the back... of our singlets. 17.01.2022 Rat Pack we’re out in force this morning at the @gc50runfestival and @yambatriathlon with Mark heading down to do all 3 disciplines. Here on the coast it was great to witness @riinee take the lead at the 47km mark of the 50km and power away to take the win and 3rd overall. Phillip finished strong to finish 6th in the 15km whilst the rest of us battled home in our respective races. We had one proud coach today in Poppy Nige who gives hours of his time for free. Thanks Poppy. If you are looking for a great club with amazing supportive coaches and members, we’d love to welcome you on board whatever your fitness level.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Rat Pack member, Zoe, who yesterday finished 2nd in her age group at IronMan 70.3 Western Sydney. In doing so she booked her spot at next years 70.3 world champs in Taupo, New Zealand.

16.01.2022 This Sunday is the kick off to the 2019/20 Queensland Tri Series. These events are a favorite amongst our members. With the first race being at Robina. 01.01.2022 Hey there amazing RPMers.. so Kingy tri is the 24th Nov. entries close tomorrow evening. We will be shooting a content piece for 4 ASDKids down at the tri. (Not on my iPhone, a professional crew will be there) It would be amazing for as many of us to be involved as possible. Firstly to support a local event and secondly to support 4 ASDKids with this piece we are shooting. (Might make you famous) . So jump on and register.. I’m not sure the team thing given our lead in will works as well as last time, but we will tee up another teams day at our Christmas party on Dec 14th at Nobby surf club.
