18.01.2022 Yesterday we put together another live event... and let me tell you, to have success in any video but particularly a virtual event requires truckloads of preparation! Not only that but - you can plan and plan and plan... and plan some more... and tech or internet or something completely unpredictable will present itself on the day. But this is the VERY reason why preparation is not only key but absolutely paramount! If we are prepared 1000x over then we can roll with the punches when they come. 08.01.2022 Thinking about a LIVE Virtual Event? 2021 waits for no one! If you're thinking about holding any event then you'd be wise to think 'virtual'. There is so much uncertainty right now and even when venues open back up, there will be rules in place and fear will still prevail for a time.... You also don't want to plan, book and make down payments on venues, tickets, catering, speakers, flights etc only to have have restrictions tighten again forcing you to refund the money (or potentially lose it) and then have to scramble to still try and make it work. 04.01.2022 STAY CALM AND MAKE IT THROUGH YOUR VIDEO SHOOT Look, sometimes staying calm when everybody is looking at you, hot lights are beating down on you and a big lens is in your face and you're supposed to smile and pretend like it's a person? I'm out of breath just writing that!... It's a lot! However, this little wheel of calm shows you what to do We put so much into preparation and organisation so ideally, on the day, you only need to do what you came to do. Here's your little list of how to stay calm on the day - Stay hydrated Breathe Mistakes simply give you a chance to start over. Stop. Breathe. Smile and start over.
