20.01.2022 Chony's Art Room - Logo is Complete This is the most beautiful, hand crafted artistry from the most stunning human being @mica_schettini I gave her a quick coloured sketch and whipped up this master piece which I LOVE and makes me happy every time I see it.... I love Native Australian Flora and wanted them to border a glass jar and some paint brushes. What I enjoy the most about this is that the picture looks like it is a water colour painting. Not at all 'business like', bright and colourful like my art room and personality. Talk about nailing the brief! 20.01.2022 One of my current projects is a newly formed team of supportive souls, talented creatives combing their skills to offer an affordable, new aged, reimagined wedding/elopement/marriage ceremony, where the emphasis is on connection, the couple of course and nature, stripping back all the excess and allowing a sacred and intimate space to be wed in the current climate of restrictions. When looking over these images of Jade and Jim vowel renewals I can instantly feel that sun,... I can feel their sincere respect and appreciation for one another, the electricity when Lisa asked them to close their eyes, I can see the admiration and love from their boys. High up on a hill of native flowers, natures set, impossible to replicate. 20.01.2022 13 Sunshine Coast Creatives take on The Refinery to bring business ideas to life including: Mindful home design Interactive 3D printed jewellery Mental ...Health art therapy T-shirts with a twist This year the The Refinery #CreativeIncubator has returned with a mission to help artists and creatives use business as a force for good. In response to COVID-19, The Refinery reinvented itself in 2020 as an online program, helping #SunshineCoast creatives connect with each other and world class experts via online masterclasses, workshops and mentoring 13 creatives from across the Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland made it to the final cohort for 2020, following applications from almost 100 people. Here's a few of The Refinery cohort of 2020. Alex Daffara - @alexandriadaffara is the creative director of a colourful, irreverent and nostalgic fashion label @teesbyalex Freya Heggarty - is artistic director of @the.mopoke creating ephemeral spaces, art and ideas that leap outta the dreamscape and into reality. 05.01.2022 Day 5 of 5: well, friends on the Internet, it’s been a massive two days here and I’d like to sign off of my time on this takeover with some gratitude and perhaps an insight to share. . In the last two days I’ve had so many moments to enjoy, as an artist. I finished a mural (nothing like I’ve done since bubble writing as a kid, but a great experience to dabble in something different). .... been delighted with the sign my niece made for her driveway. . received a text from a gorgeous friend telling me my work is featured in @bellemagazineau with @gregnatale gorgeous interiors and . received more texts from beautiful friends showing my work installed at @harmony_sunshinecoast public art project for property group Avid. . There’s lots of beautiful ways to spend our time on this globe and doing what I really truly love is one of the best decisions I’ve committed to. . This is a hearty thank you to The Refinery program and my Refinery friends who did 2020 with me, for the reassurance to dive in and confidence in the amazing creative community here on the Sunshine Coast. . My niece’s sign is just the absolute best so it has to go here!. . The format of this workshop is all about artistic self expression. In which I begin with a gentle meditation which assists to drop into the space and tap into creative flow. Followed by a brief explanation of the wide variety of materials on offer, participants create unique, individual works of art that are a true... expression of their inner artist.
