Here are some pointers to keep in mind with the light coming in to your space depending on the aspect: - Eastern light is most intense in the morning and tends to be a slightly warm light with a yellow tinge - Northern light is the strongest throughout the day and tends to be a neutral light... - Southern light is generally diffused throughout the day and has cool/blue tinge to it; and - Western light is strong late afternoon light and is typically very orange/red See more

Better yet, try painting a sample area first so you can see what your paint will look like at different times of the day under both natural and artificial light

18.01.2022 Paint can completely change the atmosphere of a room, establish harmony within the decor, and accent an interior with personal style. Imagine this room with all-white paint. Instead, we chose to add this grey feature wall which now ties in perfectly in this primarily monochromatic space and lifts the entire feeling of the interior.

14.01.2022 When buying paint, there are 3 paint finish options you can choose from: 1) flat / matte; 2) satin / low sheen; or 3) semi gloss / gloss / high gloss.... When painting walls in our renovation projects, we typically pick low sheen paint so it has that little bit of shine whilst being able to hide small imperfections well. #therenoduoprojects #livingroomdesign #livingroomdecor #livingroominspo #painting

We updated the back panel, resurfaced the benchtop, added new pendant lights, spray painted the door knobs black, and updated the mixer and stovetop Now it's so much more modern and fresh! 06.01.2022 And that's a wrap, we're all done. Finito!! Cannot believe this bathroom used to be pale blue, with a battered and mouldy vanity, old chrome fixtures, and a mirror that didn't even extend the width of the vanity! Now it's so fresh and pretty with a new vanity, new mirror, new rose gold fixtures, new paint, new lighting ... well the list goes on ... #melodyrenoproject #therenoduoprojects
