25.01.2022 Come on down to the DIY repair café! Costa lives by the three Rs Reduce, Reuse and Recycle but he believes there should be a fourth R - Repair! He visits a repair café in inner city Sydney to learn how to give his old garden tools a new lease of life.

24.01.2022 Whole gamut of stuff fixed last week. If you can carry it in, we’ll give it a red hot go at trying to fix

21.01.2022 Instead of throwing away a wobbly bike, wonky furniture or torn clothes, bring them to the Repair Cafe. We help you fix common household items in a community atmosphere, thus conserving resources and helping the planet. It's on every Saturday morning, 9am til noon, at the Mullumbimby campus of the Byron Community College, cnr. Burringbar and Gordon Streets, Mullumbimby. With Australia being in the unenviable position of having a very high per capita volume of waste, here is a chance to be involved with a free community initiative to repair and conserve while meeting others over a cuppa. We also welcome skilled members of our community to meet and pass on the lost art of repairing. Just drop in any time Saturday morning and be prepared to learn how to help revive your bikes, furniture, clothes and household treasures.

04.01.2022 Today has been a momentous day for The Repair Cafe, Mullumbimby, after many years of being nurtured by the Byron Community College, we are taking flight and have signed an agreement to team up with our great friends at Shedding. Firstly a great thanks to Byron Community College, in particular Richard & Lance, who dreamed of the idea of a Repair Cafe in Mullumbimby, and to Ken Bright, who took that idea and turned it into something special. We are all so excited to start a new... journey with Sophie and her fabulous crew, and look forward to becoming totally immersed ith the Shedding Community and projects. We will close down at our current Community College location before Christmas and open up again at our new location at Shedding at Mullum Commons next to the show grounds in the New year #Repaircafe #mullumbimby Byron Community College RTO: 90013 Shedding Community Workshop Inc #community See more

04.01.2022 Our last day for the year and our last day at the Byron Community college site, once again Byron Community College RTO: 90013, thank you so much for your generosity of spirit for the Community to provide us with this space. We're also so looking forward to start afresh with Shedding Community Workshop Inc and eagerly anticipating that journey together to an even better offering to the Community around us. Our last day, had some great fixes and a guest appearance from one of our founding members and dear friend Koala Kenny, who even got out the welding gear to fix a chair. Another lovely day
