19.01.2022 It’s a beautiful time in the western plains right now. Delighted to start welcoming your visits once more and such a happy surprise to see The Repose featuring online @vogueliving promoting regional travel with @stayinthebush. __ Years ago our families left the city life behind to start a new journey in the west. Past the mountains and rolling paddocks, we arrived to discover the plains for ourselves. Ever so surely, our hearts were drawn into this part of the Australian cou...ntry we now call home. Come see for yourself. Plan a road trip #stayinthebush and #buyfromthebush this year. __ We offer a curated place to stay as a base to travel and explore the amazing regional shops out west. Enjoy artisan accomodation crafted by our own hands, receive our personalised guide to the area and don’t forget to visit the @saddlerandco workshop while you’re in Dubbo. P.S. All our weekends in July and August are booked out but there are spots available mid week and Spring is a glorious time of year for a trip. See you soon. X

11.01.2022 Sending greetings from our favourite spot here in the city on the plains. Thank you for so many heartwarming comments and welcome to the new followers who have joined us. We welcome you to discover The Repose experience. When we first discovered this workers cottage we immediately sensed the potential and beauty within these walls. So we went to work slowly, thoughtfully while juggling our full time jobs. We helped share the load of busy family life together while restoring T...he Repose. It was our common bond of friendship and love for holistic design that saw us complete the project about eighteen months later. Each process has been crafted with our very own hands. Two couples joining in friendship and vision to create rest for the weary. The Repose is a space where modern luxuries reflect craftsmanship and gathered artisan touches restore the senses.
