13.01.2022 When the temperature plummets from 29 yesterday to 7 today, warm bread rolls and soup are required! This batch of soft butter rolls is just out of the oven and smells amazing!
10.01.2022 I made soft cinnamon doughnuts for my son to share with his grandfather this morning (baked in the rose gold doughnut tray from the Mix Shop of course!) Then found a recipe for gluten free doughnuts online and adapted it to make in the Thermomix so that my daughter could have some too. She loves them! Now to find time to write it up!
09.01.2022 Last week for a workshop on making all things dairy I made quark for the first time. Quark is not just a word that is fun to say, it is also a type of curd cheese! Of course then I had a lot of quark to use! I made strawberry mousse with some (which was delicious) and then found a recipe for cheese spread. Oh my goodness it is good! Like cream cheese but smoother. Perfect with some crackers for some afternoon tea on a lazy Sunday!
