17.01.2022 Adam Hain - Division 3 Councillor Moreton Bay Regional Council posted this afternoon; MAIN ROADS DEPT-BEERBURRUM AND PUMICESTONE RAIL CROSSING State Government Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) have advised that work to improve motorist safety at the Beerburrum Road and Pumicestone Road intersection is scheduled to start in the week beginning Monday 19 March 2018, weather permitting. What to expect... work will be undertaken during daytime hours between 6am and 5pm, Monday to Friday; night work will be required between 7pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday; temporary lane closures may be in place during working hours, and TMR will endeavour to minimise potential delays to motorists; the northbound pedestrian crossing will be closed during the work and a pedestrian detour will be in place; and reduced speed limits, construction signage and traffic control measures will also be in place during the work. Project completion is anticipated by the end of September 2018, weather permitting.
