17.01.2022 Last week truly was an adventure of allowing life to guide me to where I needed to be and I have meet some wonderful new friends and found a few treasures along... the way. Starting with the Retro room @ Kew- a cute little vintage boutique selling pre loved clothing and plants and spending hours chatting with the new owner about permaculture, then swapping a mulberry tree I grew from seed and a few seedlings for a wooden wheel reel which I've always wanted. I was lucky enough to be invited in for dinner and was inspired by the passion for wholesome living and yummy produce this lovely family were growing. My week involved everything from hunting around another lovely friends garden in the dark for gooseberries and picking up some beautiful lemon myrtle cuttings, lemons and passionfruit in exchange for Saba nuts and a pumpkin to cooking up some delicious produce of my own. No matter where you are on your journey to self sufficiency don't forget to use your intuition as a guide to connect with those walking the same path.. meeting people who share my old fashioned values gives me hope that the world is slowly changing back to the way it once was.. simple and sustainable See more
