22.01.2022 Many people are worried about the Corona Virus that has recently been in the media. The Health Department are testing suspected cases in WA, as yet none are confirmed in WA. The WA Department of Health has some information sheets on the virus if you are concerned at all. https://ww2.health.wa.gov.au//Hea/Articles/A_E/Coronavirus

21.01.2022 October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Make sure you check yourselves, although the risk is higher in women, men can also get breast cancer so everyone should do their regular check. Book in for a mammogram if you are a female over 40. Mammograms take about 15 minutes and although they may not be pleasant at the time, they may just save your life.

20.01.2022 Our poor nurses have been so busy today so our elf family helped them put the order away

19.01.2022 We have had a few calls regarding the recent outbreak of measles in the Rockingham area and have contacted the Metropolitan Disease Control Centre (MDCC) this morning. Their advice is to not immunise children before they are due for immunisations. MDCC will contact us if there is any need for prophylactic treatment. If you have been contacted by the MDCC or local high school please follow the instructions provided by them. If you were born after 1966 and have not had 2 doses of MMR, you can book an appointment for the vaccine (please let us know when you book). Appointments for immunisations cannot be booked online.

18.01.2022 Hi all- Please be advised that if you have a phone consultation with a doctor, they may be calling you on a private number. If it's around your appointment time and you get a call from a private number, please answer- it's probably your doctor trying to call you. Thanks!

16.01.2022 Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have implemented a few changes to our waiting room procedures. As of today, we ask that when you arrive for your appointment, you call us from your car on 9523 2000 to let us know you are waiting. Our waiting rooms(both the regular clinic and the Maternity Clinic) are locked and only accessible via a staff member letting you in. One of our reception staff will call you when it is time for you to come in to the practice and we will l...et you in. These measures, along with implementing telephone consults wherever possible, will ensure that we are doing our bit to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 infection rates. Thank you everyone for your cooperation and patience.

16.01.2022 We are often fully booked, and we try very hard to get patients in when they need to see a doctor urgently, we also offer a cancellation list each day and as we get cancellations we call patients on our list to offer them the cancelled appointment, but lately we have had quite a few booked appointments where patients don't turn up and don't call to cancel or reschedule, this is unfair to the patients on the cancellation list who need an appointment. Please call us to cancel your appointment, we understand sometimes you are unable to do so, but we would love to offer someone else your appointment if you no longer need it, and if you can give us some notice that would be wonderful .

13.01.2022 We would like to welcome Dr Arwen Boyle to our practice. Dr Boyle is a GP registrar and will be with us for 12 months, she worked in the public hospital system for many years, before deciding to become a GP. You can book online with her or by calling us, her first day is Thurs 16/1/20.
