23.01.2022 It’s back to juggling home schooling the kids & work this week . . I realised recently I spend so much time giving to others I often leave very little in the tank for myself - but I do my best work when I am centred & calm ... so somethings gotta give! Or cue feels! .... . . So ISO 2.0 is going to look a bit different than 1st lockdown. . . Here’s my #homeschooling #lockdown hacks for surviving the next 5 weeks (maybe beyond?) . . . . 1. Flexible schooling & working hours - getting the kids out in the fresh air middle of the day sets them up for the afternoon 2. 1 hr each day for hubby & I to do something each on our own - this is a major priority this time around 3. I’m buddying up with a couple of school mums to do 2 x swap days where I take an extra child & home school 2 kids & vice versa 5. Hubby’s taking Wednesday’s off to help 6. Daily Dose Meditation - check out @cool.karma.collected for this one 7. Groceries delivered 8. Regular remedial massages 9. Regular social distancing walks with a friend 10. I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m looking to either hire someone or approach a new client, I always spy on their Linkedin profile ... Looking to market yourself or your business on Linkedin? Here a few tricks to help you get started 1.Create and optimize your LinkedIn page,or your business page by adding relevant searchable keywords. For example, I’ve added the words ‘Marketing, PR’ to mine, so if someone searches for such keywords, they’ll stumble upon my page. 2.Post useful and engaging content blog posts and trends, industry research and what’s happening behind the scenes. For me, that’s regularly posting my podcast episodes but you can also easily share other relevant content rather than curating your own. 3. Join and participate in relevant groups look for groups within your industry and actively participate in the conversations.
