20.01.2022 This was our wharf and office at about 9pm last night. In the morning inside the office there was evidence of water a metre up the wall! Luckily we had put everything off the floor on the desks, unlike last time.... This photo was shot by local photographer Matt Barros.

18.01.2022 All the waterfalls are flowing on the Hawkesbury River after all that rain! The Cacade Gully Waterfall next to the historic wreck of HMAS Parramatta 1. This photo was taken on the Riverboat Postman run today.

18.01.2022 About 17 years ago I did the Postman Run, but on last Wednesday 30th May I took a group of my fellow swimmers on board, and how impressed was I and the whole group with the Boat, the Crew, the service, the meal and the commentary was second to none. 18.01.2022 Normal road based Posties have to deal with dogs snapping at their heals when delivering the mail. Water based Posties have a similar problem if you fall into the Hawkesbury River! Zoom in and you'll see what I mean......

17.01.2022 This is Brian Manning. His first trip on The Riverboat Postman was in 1936. He guesstimates that he has done the trip 100's of times visiting the small settlement of Pumpkin Creek on weekends in the 1930's and 40's with his parents. We get a lot passengers revisiting childhood memories on the Hawkesbury but Brian is the earliest so far!

Thank you all for your patience, your ongoing good wishes and your emails and calls asking when you can get a bit of river time again NOW, is the answer! 03.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to 2083 residents - you raised a ridiculously grand total of $22,271.10 for our local 2083 RFS brigades!! The donations from just about EVERY business located within 2083 as well as many generous individuals from local, interstate as well as far away as Germany made for a great auction & raffle as well as a very successful bar, and the cruise was a noisy & joyous affair with about 140 on board. With no IOUs, the funds were handed over the next day and will be divided equally between the RFS brigades of Brooklyn, Mooney Mooney, Dangar Island & Milsons Passage so they can buy the things they actually need immediately. We are so proud to have been involved! Thank you.

01.01.2022 Yet another really big tide (2.07m) cut our office and wharf off from the rest of the world. Some passengers had to remove shoes and socks then wade through the water to get to us!
