25.01.2022 Sorry about the silence everyone, have just returned from Vietnam, and am head-down marking another 93 Uni assignments, whilst renovating the house. Thank goodness for The Therminator whilst the stove/oven is disconnected, sitting in the middle of the verandah :D How has your Thermomix saved your sanity? <3

23.01.2022 Hello Lovelies, as many of you know, our family has had an exceedingly difficult time over the past 18 months plus. During this time, my focus was, as it needed to be, on supporting my family however and whenever possible. Unfortunately as I did not make enough Thermomix sales during this period, I have been decommissioned by Thermomix, and am no longer a Thermomix consultant. All my customer records are with the local Team Leader Tess Murray, who will allocate a local consu...ltant to you. My fabulous customer friends, although I can no longer hold demos, officially support you etc, please know that I am still available for advice and support as a fellow Thermie owner. Thank you all so very much for your support and fun times over the years of my consultancy, and I am so very sorry this has occurred. So, would you like me to continue this Thermamazing page, or should I bin it? See more

20.01.2022 Did you know you can mince your own meat in your Thermomix? The trick is to partially freeze chunks of meat (chicken, beef, lamb & pork all work well) for 30-60... minutes. Place up to 300g in your bowl and process 10 sec/speed 6 or until you reach the desired consistency. And for the Beef Taco recipe click here > https://bit.ly/2xb2VjE

The last page shows a WEEKLY savings of $119.55 just on these items alone... and a $6478.26 yearly savings!! that is HUGE! So by owning a Thermomix sooner rather than later, you will be saving money straight away. Contact your consultant today! Why wait? See more

16.01.2022 Found this amazingness at Costco. Am going to blitz them to powder - separately, not together! Imagine the intensity of the dried strawbs sprinkled on cakes, desserts, rice pudding, cocktails. The mushroom powder would be incredible over steaks, in meat or vegetarian dishes, in soup, mixed with butter and garlic for a wow garlic bread, in risotto etc. My head is about to explode with possibilities

10.01.2022 I love how the Thermie just keeps saving us $$$ Instead of throwing out those slivers of soap, I collect them to dry and use when making laundry powder and liquid hand soap - ridiculously easy, is virtually free, and makes soooooo much!!! Egg shells are dried and collected until I have a bowlful. Blitz them in the Thermie for several seconds to restore the shine to your bowl, then sprinkle the eggshell dust around your seedlings to deter snails and slugs - or feed it to y...our chooks. How else does your Thermie save you money by using scraps/waste?

01.01.2022 Hi friends, I’ve been inundated with messages since I posted on my Instagram story last night about freezing our excess eggs. So I thought I’d post here & ans...wer the questions to help you if I can! At the moment I’m getting 12-16 eggs a day. With a family of 6 & regular visitors we do go through a fair few eggs but every now & then I get a few too many piled up & naturally I don’t want them wasted. I try & sell some (for feed) and give some away but most people we know also have chooks so don’t want them. So a couple of years back I looked into what I can do with extra eggs. Turns out you can freeze them! Absolutely wonderful for when my chooks go completely off the lay in Winter! I’ll pop what I can think of here, if you have any further questions let me know & I’ll pop it all in a blog post for future reference too. The basics. * I freeze my eggs either in single lots (see pic) or I freeze them in lots of 12 (the amount I regularly use for scrambled eggs or a frittata) * Single - 1 egg per large ice cube tray. Freeze overnight (they really only take about 6 hours) then pop out of the moulds & place them in a container / bag to live in the freezer. You can leave them in the mould but I use my moulds a fair bit so prefer to do it this way. Single eggs are great for cakes, brekky etc. * Multiple lots - as I say, I do 12 but you can the amount you prefer & use regularly. Just crack the eggs into a clip lock bag or container & freeze. * Defrost eggs at room temp before using. This will depend on the weather. If it’s super hot there then perhaps defrost in fridge overnight. We don’t generally have this issue in Tasmania! * I’ll keep eggs in my freezer for up to 6 months. * I’ve not found any difference in noticing the quality of the eggs after freezing & defrosting. The only exception to this ‘might’ be if you want to do ‘sunny side up’ eggs & how the yolks turn out - although this could be my imagination! Let me know if any questions! I hope this helps! Take Care of You, Collette x PS there seems to be some confusion with my photo! What you are seeing is the silicone mould, egg yolk & egg white (so basically 1 egg cracked into each part!) NOT eggs in shells in water * most people have said that whisking them a little to combine yolk & white is best - I haven’t tried this but will!
