23.01.2022 Cold, wet and miserable here in Vic today so baking it is..... Thermomumma jumbo white loaf waiting for the oven. Garlic, herb and cheese bread mixing in the bread machine. Next up pork and chicken dumplings!
22.01.2022 When I first made Riso Al Forno from Skinnymixers A Little Taste of Italy, I wasn't overly impressed! I made it again today and wow..... this time I used Skinnymixers chicken stock paste, 250ml of wine, mixed mushrooms, diced pumpkin and stirred through some peas for the last 10 mins! I served topped with goats cheese!... Mmmmmmm, give it a try!
21.01.2022 Eggs, eggs, eggs! We have backyard chickens and I currently have around 8 dozen eggs sitting in my fridge. 21.01.2022 I did some baking yesterday and I must say the Brambly Apple Shortcake on Cookidoo is absolutely delicious and very easy to make!!!! It's part of The British Isles on a Plate Collection..

15.01.2022 I don't usually play around with recipes too much, I tend to stick with it just to make life easy. Last night I made creamy garlic chicken, but I was starting dinner late and just wanted to get something on the table so....... I made creamy garlic chicken linguine, used the garlic chicken recipe but added the liquid component and the linguine from the tuscan prawn linguine.... It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!
13.01.2022 My daughter has decided she'd like to start her own business selling macarons at local markets and for special occassions...... we are upto the 10th trial batch and while all have tested delicious there are areas for improvement. What are your tips and tricks for perfect macarons (traditional and thermomix methods/recipes appreciated)
12.01.2022 I must admit I was a little skeptical about the Skinnymixers Tuna Mornay from THMIV. I didn't have cream so used coconut milk as suggested in the recipe and while the sauce was cooking I wasn't feeling confident. However after taking it out of the oven and finishing my third bowl, I must say....... it is absolutely delicious!

08.01.2022 Currently in lock down here in Vic, I'm regional so not as bad as the metro mixers have it, but starting to feel the monotony and drain of each day! Thought I'd try and lighten the mood a little and give everyone some laughs. I've been doing more cooking and baking of late so I'd like to ask everyone to share with me their iso-fails......... You know like me the other day preparing a lovely meal to go into the slow cooker cause we had a busy working day and the kids home schooling all day, really looking forward to a delicious dinner only to realise at around 5.30 that I hadn't turned the slow cooker on Sp let's share your biggest, funniest, cruelest, most annoying cooking fails and see if we can lift some spirits xx
