20.01.2022 Had a late shift tonight so needed to make something really quick for dinner before going to work. Don't know why, as it is a quick and simple recipe that the kids could make. The Quick Gyros! Sorry, no pics and it was eaten before I could take one. Already had made tzatiki over the weekend (along with the less than 5 minute hummos) made from scratch. All done in under 15 mins! Kids heated it for dinner and ate everything (not leaving me with any :( lucky I had the remains of the chicken pasta from Sunday night... Tomorrow night is going to be the easy satay chicken. All done in 15 mins at the TM6. I could even make my own peanut butter, but will leave that for another day seeing I have about 150g left in the existing jar. So, what would you like me to make next?

17.01.2022 Who uses their butterfly whisk? I use it regularly to make butter, beat cream, make italian meringue, egg whites for normal meringue, fruity dream, probably a lot more! What do you use it for? Tips for using your Butterfly: To get the last bit of food off your butterfly, tap (gently!) it back and forth inside your bowl. Then place it back on top of the blade, turn on speed 4 to flick excess to side of bowl, then scrape last bits out with your spatula. Remember that the butterfly should never be used above speed 4.

17.01.2022 Yesterday I made basil pesto and was instantly transported back to the Granville Market in Vancouver BC. This is where I use to buy an amazing home-made pesto to add to my pasta sauce or anything else that I liked. I love the fact that food can take you to places that you haven't been to in years, whether it is a travel location or your kitchen where you were growing up and watching (or helping) mum, nanna or nan cook.
