23.01.2022 Having a Thermomix allows me to make food from scratch. I know exactly what ingredients have gone in, and have hand selected each one. This means no more agonising over nutritional tables and ingredient list on packets, and a new level of freshness to my cooking. I also get to express my love for my family (through my cooking) every time I put a nourishing meal on the table, not to mention the joy of trying new meals. When it comes to making yoghurt I will always do this in... the evening, while tidying the kitchen so by the time I am done, I can leave it to ferment over night. The next morning all that needs to be done is move to the fridge to be chilled. I make this particular recipe as instructed, I add only 15g of sugar and I also add a probiotic capsule with the milk powder for extra health benefits. If you have never made yoghurt before I suggest reading through the recipe, including the tips. Have fun with it, and get the kids involved as a mini science experiment. I would to help you with any yoghurt questions you may have.

20.01.2022 I have been Thermomix-ing for over seven years now and it still amazes ( & excites) me how many recipes I still have not tried, only this week I made Crumpets for the first time and currently have my first batch of Salted Caramel Ice-cream setting in the freezer (pictures to follow I promise!). As my confidence had grown in the kitchen so has the repertoire of recipes I make, giving me TRUE value out of my investment. What would you like to use you Thermomix for or more... with? Is there something you tried that didnt turn out the way you wanted? Or maybe something you always say you are going to make but havent yet, what is it? Bread/ Doughs? Varoma? Something fancy? If you are shy, feel free to send me a private message, I would love for nothing more for you to be getting the absolute most out of your Thermomix.

19.01.2022 As promised in yesterday's video here is my hour of power in the kitchen. Started with Coconut & Oat Cookies, set in fridge for 15 minutes to firm dough. Blueberry Friands mixed and in the oven. Made both Chai and hot Chocolate powder, returned to cookie dough to shape and put in the oven, lastly put my chickpeas on to slow cook. Best part of all everything was packed away and cleaned by the time the last batch of cookies came out.

18.01.2022 Zero waste While in the freezer I noticed a large stash of buttermilk blocks from last butter build-up . Also frozen raspberries I normally use in smoothies, with the cool change in weather smoothies tend to take a back seat. The outcome , Buttermilk and Raspberry Jam.

I like to make the onion the day before, this way when making the puffs its only 15mins to sinking your teeth in. Would love to hear of any other Cheese Puff combos?
