21.01.2022 Saturday Savings The perfect rainy morning for a nice hot chocolate. Home made- $1.95... Store bought - $4 Savings of $2.05 per tin!! Once you’ve made the powder in the Thermomix, pop it in your container- a modular mate fits one batch perfectly!! Then add some milk to the bowl and use the residue powder to make your first hot chocolate. You can use the kettle mode- just drop the temp to 80degrees so you don’t scold the milk.

12.01.2022 As most of you know, we have a full house every 2nd weekend, the kids range in age from 1-18 so catering for everyone can be fun. Pasta bake is a fav that everyone loves and because I’m cooking for an army I don’t always use the Thermomix for every thing! BUT I do use it to my advantage and use it to chop the veg, cook the pasta and make the sauce, before throwing it all together and baking it.

04.01.2022 How good is the thicken mode- chuck it all in and walk away

04.01.2022 Saturday Savings Those of you that know me will know I’m a bit of a tight arse and hate waste! The Thermomix is perfect for someone like me because I am barely wasting anything. ... All the fruit my kids say they want but then don’t eat always gets made into something and very easily. Take blueberries as an example. The kids love them one day hate them the next and are so expensive to throw away. So what they don’t eat one day usually gets thrown into the next mornings porridge or a muffin or cake of some sort which doesn’t go to waste! Photo of this mornings pear and blueberry porridge.
