23.01.2022 After a long wait and Coronavirus freight problems, the Modibodi’s have finally arrived!! We are very excited to distribute these special period underwear to our girls! As school is still closed, we shall deliver to each female sponsor student with their homework packs, some feminine hygiene packs that we are putting together. As many people are suffering badly here at the moment, girls fear to ask their parents for soap and pads, so they have arrived at the perfect time!! ... We hope to distribute over the next two weeks. We have had some donations for emergency COVID-19 relief so we are using that to top up and make sure all our female students get a pack. 13.01.2022 A BIG SHOUT OUT to Burton.com.au that donated a second hand suitcase to a family in Lukodi! Old suitcases are used as closets here in village huts, so a family have somewhere to keep their clothes and treasures. The Muzee Nyero family were thrilled to receive this gift!

07.01.2022 Thank you to Tony Kelly and his wife Sue for hosting such a beautiful fundraiser yesterday! The lovely The Jam Tarts Trio entertained us and helped us raise $650 dollars!!! All donations raised are being used to support the Lukodi Health Centre Maternity ward, giving the women of Lukodi the opportunity to deliver their babies with medical assistance.
