17.01.2022 Let’s talk drinks for a minute (what else would I be talking about here) .... You’ve planned your wedding perfectly, but there’s one thing I see overlooked time and time again, drinks on arrival. Your guests will ALWAYS arrive to your ceremony early, they’ll be standing around in the sun, bored, waiting for this thing to start. More often than not, we’ll be setting up the bar in the same area and your guests will see there’s a bar. They’ll wonder over and ask for a drink only... to be told sorry, we don’t start serving for another hour If only you could see the look on their face. You might not have the budget for bar service to begin as soon as guests arrive and that’s ok, but I’m sure you can spare an extra $50 to pop some soft drinks and bottles of water in an ice bucket and let guests have a cold soft drink while they wait. You’ve got older folks, children and pregnant women standing in the sun, have a water station setup ready to go, they won’t mind waiting that extra ten minutes for you now Snap by @laurenannephotography at Belinda & Jyes beautiful wedding

14.01.2022 18 months ago Sam from Silent Shout Entertainment asked me if I wanted to go halves in a warehouse... fast forward and the warehouse idea was a miss but we did find the perfect spot for our dream at 166 Maitland rd Mayfield, where The Wedding Social Co. was born We’ve officially been open for a whole year and I’ve been double chin laughing here everyday since!
