25.01.2022 Unfortunately i couldn’t get my final complete photo of the waterfall in action as the colour sealer is still drying but it’s looking amazing!

24.01.2022 I’ve found a new home for my garden show exhibit waterfall. It’s an honour to bring this to someone who can’t get out there into nature anymore, I’m bringing nature to him! Also giving a turtle in a fish tank a new home. This one stands around 2 meters high!

23.01.2022 Keep posted to see what i do with this failed DIY pond attempt. It’s good to see people give it a go but if you do, please for futures sake, use a decent EPDM pond liner. This one was built with builders plastic. Don’t cut cost on liner as it’s the foundation of a pond.

21.01.2022 Getting closer to seeing 3 x 20,000 lph pumps cascade down this bad boy. Pond is pretty much finished, just needs some attention to detail like moss, logs, plants, lights etc. Cant wait to give a turtle in a fish tank a new home!

18.01.2022 And this is what i do with my spare time at home, make rocks! I don’t think i’l ever stop learning

18.01.2022 I’m so excited in anticipation to fill the pond and see this baby in action! Some plants going in today will soften the rock nicely. The photo makes it hard to tell exactly what’s going on but this is actually around 2.6m high from standing in the bottom of the empty pond. Stay tuned to see the waterfall turn on tomorrow!

12.01.2022 This is something quite different from my usual style but i was very keen to challenge myself with straight lines. I’m usually against straight lines but in this very small backyard scenario I think this works great! A great way of hiding an ugly looking fence. Dimensions are 2.5m wide and 1.8m high. It has a custom made up flow wetland in the top which is a biological filtration device which will help keep the water quality nice and healthy. The water in this photo looks dirty as it has new pebble in the bottom but this will clean up in a few days and turn crystal clear. There will be fish added when the ph level is neutral.

11.01.2022 This has been my week. A little different to the normal waterfall construction but it’s still creative so I do enjoy it, that’s the main thing!

In the process of this obsession I have developed, to create realistic looking rocks, the only way I know how is to sit in my favourite creek spots and observe how nature does it. Nature and evolution is my art inspiration! Oh, that and talking to the rocks

06.01.2022 Loving this job, I’m adding a biological wetland to an existing feature in a resort built around 30 years ago at a guess. (New addition is highlighted in yellow). It was a nicely built feature but unfortunately the builders had no understanding of the need to filter the water for the fish. I have essentially given this pond a kidney! There will be 2 nice waterfalls coming out of this new addition. Stay tuned for liftoff tomorrow...
