10.01.2022 It’s about that time, when we say ‘Adios’ for a little time to spend our minutes with loved ones and let our minds take a break. This year has been such a wild ride! Watching the beautiful love stories of 2020 eventuate after all the obstacles has been a true pleasure. One wedding touched my heart in a special way... the marriage of my dear friend and business partner @megankellyweddings and her lovely fella Toby. To see them get married not just once via a very chic regist...ry office zoom ceremony! But a second time also in person, on the lush grounds of @deuxbelettes with 30 of their nearest and dearest (including Daisy, the cutest flower girl you ever did see!) Such a highlight!!! One particular woman has made such a mark on my personal creativity and process. Of course Im speaking of the powerhouse talent that is @marinamachadocakes . The kindest, most hilarious, spirited and passionate woman! I love our creative explosion phone calls and that making artful cakes simply sets her soul on f...ire! Marina has this innate quality of listening to my hopes and dreams for a cake and turning it into a reality, always FAR surpassing what I could ever have imagined a cake to be.
