24.01.2022 Lets just pretend for a second that everything is as normal, just for a second. Bear with me... Its Friday, and on Friday weve got someone on the turntables, picking the tunes. Sophie is one of our most long standing and explicitly loved resident DJs. Shes spent a lot of time behind our turntables, curating the tunes for Fridays. ... Heres a mix she recorded last week. Its great. Its one of her best in my opinion, and its very Rooks. It runs for about three and a half hours. If you hit play around 9pm, itll play through the night, and finish up just around the time wed be calling last drinks. We really miss you guys. We miss doing our thing. We miss you doing yours. 20.01.2022 We are sad to announce, due to the state of the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be closing The Rooks Return, effective immediately. We are doing this because we care about you, your family and friends and we feel like we have no other choice - this is the hardest decision we have had to make as a business and we want to come out the other side with jobs for our staff, and a place for all of you to feel happy and safe, and somewhere for you to party. We are taking this day by day a...nd we will keep you updated as the situation develops. Look after yourselves, wash your hands, talk to your mates, and keep an eye peeled for a livestream or two x
