25.01.2022 Styling a home on a big budget is far easier than on a small one. But it’s so good when you don’t have much left in the kitty and find a bargain that just works! This @kmartaus chair cost us around $50 and looks and feels just as good as the $400 versions I saw elsewhere. The same goes for the Kmart jute rug in the foreground. I believe investing in pieces that you will have for years - like a good sofa or sideboard, but an occasional chair, a jute rug, throws and cushions ...don’t need to break the bank. I found the gorgeous storage basket at an op shop, the tile picture was my grandmother’s and the cross was brought home from a holiday in the Greek Islands. 14.01.2022 If you love the look of an all white home, the key to stop it looking bland (and save on the bleach!) is to incorporate natural tones and textures too. White walls and neutral furniture - pale grey, oatmeal, tan colours - with white cushions, curtains, decor items is an easier way to get the look without as much cleaning! Or the need for sunglasses!
