07.01.2022 So in South Philadelphia in the 1930's the Olivieri brothers sold hot dogs and sandwiches. Pat was tired of hot dogs so he asked his brother Harry to go to the deli and grab some shaved beef. He pilled it on his sandwich with onions. A cab driver came and bought it straight away stating you can make money selling these. So the brothers added it to their menu. In the 40's Pat started a steak house Pat's Steak house which it is still there to this day. Various options of Philly cheese Steaks were added to the menu. A sign on the wall states the rules 1. With or without onions 2. Choose the cheese 3. Have your money ready 4. Any mistakes to the back if the line you go. We won't abide to the rules but we like the back of the line rule.
