18.01.2022 Thanks to The Crew from Long Drive for Drought for coming in last night! Thanks to the lovely racing chickens and some crazy punting, the Chickens raised $827.50, and the pub donated a dollar a drink from 4pm-9pm, so the total was $1002 for Drought Angels.

All accommodation and food included, so this may be your chance for a sea change, or somewhere to wait out this interesting world we live in currently! We’re looking for a bright, bubbly person to join our small family run pub and become a part of our family. We are in Tambo, western Queensland and we host the world famous ...Bens Chicken Races, 7 nights a week from May-October, so we tend to get extremely busy during our tourist season. We also have the world famous Tambo Teddies just down the street. We have one very large, very friendly dog, lots of chickens, a sheep and a very noisy goat that call our pub home. Your duties will include everything from feeding the goat, to making up rooms, to cleaning toilets to pouring and serving drinks at the bar, helping us make pies, and some basic cooking and everything in between. Some kitchen or cooking experience is desirable but not essential. Tambo is in western Queensland, which is an amazing place if you like adventure and exploring, so having your own vehicle is advantageous.
