23.01.2022 After todays announcement from chairman dan, i would just like to let you know that nothing has changed in relation to country pubs . Even though i dont want to be too stringent with the rules the fact remains that there are serious fines for any breaches and everyone knows the rules, so please dont take it personal when i try implement them. Im just asking for a little respect for my situation, because i am trying my best during strange times.

23.01.2022 The 9 incher is back this week, but it’s been named. It is now simply known as the Mongrel. So if you think its too much for one sitting you can cut in half and have half a mongrel if you please. Also for the semi adventurous out there for a couple of extra bucks you can turn it into a parma mongrel burger. Also at Charlie Walls behest we will be offering a steak sandwich and chips combo. 19.01.2022 well Dans american style bbq has been run and done. From all reports it was a good night and the meat was fantastic. Huge shout out to everyone who helped out, Lesters marquee was spot on, thanks to AB and mick for putting it up (not Rob). Shirl and Lauren for the food service, silly old Mal in the bar, Jaron and Brent for the music, Mal Schilling for the tables and chairs, Drifty, chairs, Janae and Bree. Hope everyone had a good night.

18.01.2022 Pub will be open from 2 oclock tomorrow, cup day. Chicken and champagne order didnt arrive, so it will be chicken chips and beer. Dont expect winning tips, but if anyone wants to have a bet i will load up my phone account and you can bet through that. Meals will be available from 6 oclock

10.01.2022 Well girls l think we have been locked up long enough!! So keep the below date free, and come on out!! This is our Breast Cancer fundraiser for 2020. A Rainbow... 'pub crawl' starting at the Royal and finishing at the Eureka!! At this stage it will be an outdoor event at both pubs, in the beer gardens, there will be karaoke and a best dressed prize, so make sure you wear your best pink bits!! Oh, and you will need gold coins!! All monies donated on the night will be equally disbursed to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Mcgrath Foundation. Men are of course welcome, but pink is the colour of the night. Please let us know if you are coming so we have an idea of numbers due to restrictions, by either commenting here or message Caroline on 0428300503. So come and support the cause, and our two pubs. 10.01.2022 Next Saturday week, the 31st of october, we are going to try something different for your culinary pleasure. Dangerous Dan Gebert is going to be on site and cooking his special American style BBQ. For those that haven't seen or heard of such delights, it involves all sorts of protein, smoked, spiced and slowly cooked to create the most delicious outcome. We will need firm bookings by very early next week so we can have adequate provisions available, ie do we go spotlighting one or two nights. Please let me know by text or call on 0439564299. Hopefully the weather will allow for us to have indoor/outdoor dining and we might get someone to play a guitar and sing a song or two.

10.01.2022 It seems that covid has not only shut down pubs for weeks on end, its crept in and ruined the local crops that looked so good. So if your harvest has been below expectations and you think the price of a drink is going to leave you without food or petrol in your car, let me know and i will give you a discount, or if its bad enough i will shout you a drink. I would hate to see someone left struggling for the sake of a few bucks and it might stop you telling anyone who will listen how you couldnt afford to have a drink on your night out. Cheers.

09.01.2022 Righto Dan has been gracious enough to throw us a crumb, we can open but under severe restrictions from tomorrow.So we are going to open the doors just a fraction and adopt the first in best dressed policy for drinks only tomorrow night at 4.30. Friday and Saturday we are going to do dine in and take away meals, dine in will be subject to bookings with limited numbers and some restrictions. Sign in, social distancing, remain seated and if you want to get serious, feel free to... wear a condom. The good news is if you raise your hand and ask nicely you are allowed to approach the bar and Mal (the best barman between here and Yaapeet) or I will be able to take your orders and get you a beverage. 09.01.2022 We have a new taste sensation available from tonight, a giant Turkish bread schnitzel burger and chips $18. We haven't thought of a name for it yet, so in the meantime we'll just call it The Frog 9 Incher.
