24.01.2022 We’re over the moon with the selection of these 2 guys in particular from our RLA family who’ve gained selection into junior representative squads! Hunter Marsh - Canberra Raiders Jak Goulding - Redcliffe Mal Meninga Cup... Both these boys have worked with RLA for some time now but in particular worked harder than most across the Covid period with our zoom sessions and have been rewarded with selection. For those that may have missed selection it’s just a moment in time don’t let it define you as a player let it define you as a person and come back a better player! Use it as motivation to work harder on your game.

22.01.2022 Solid first session today with our Pre Season program! It was certainly the highest skill level we’ve seen in the 3 years this program has been running. Can’t wait to see where this group gets to in the next 5 weeks!

20.01.2022 We’re super proud to coach this crew of great kids. It would of been easy for them to stay in bed this morning and find an excuse to not train considering the weather or school holidays starting, but every single one of our Sunday morning kids turned up and put themselves through their toughest session yet; full contact on the beach into Merewether stairs!! Great job guys enjoy the break and we’ll see you in the new year.

18.01.2022 Worth a quick read for any coach... If you’re an X’s and O’s coach and disregarding the connection amongst your team you might want to rethink your approach. For a greater insight into the importance of building team connection I highly recommend a book called ‘you win in the locker room first’. Get your hands on it and watch your coaching go to another level. 17.01.2022 WOW! What a day... Thank you to the 100 (yes ) participants across today at our RLA coaching clinic in Maitland today! Amazing to see so many kids engaged in our Rugby League league activities in our biggest clinic yet!!! Keep an eye out in the coming days for our summer school programs and announcement of venues for all your footy needs in the off season!

16.01.2022 RLA is fortunate to have these guys as our coaches working with players aspiring to be the best they can. Yesterday there team the Maitland Pickers finished as minor and major premiers in the state wide NSWRL Presidents Cup. Special mention to Alex Langbridge who was named Man of the Match in the grand final and also Player of the Year!!

14.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for our Monday sessions in Maitland for 2020. Massive number of kids in these sessions working on their game with all our coaches on skills, game sense, touch footy, speed and agility. Thanks for taking part guys and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021.

This review enclosed is for a Jersey Flegg player from a Sydney NRL club seeking an overview of his game and areas for improvement. Are you looking for this type of feedback? No matter where you’re located video review footage is a great tool to learn from. Send us your games and we’ll put our team to task with assessing your strengths, your areas for improvement and opportunities for growth going forward.

10.01.2022 This little drill helps the player coming out of the tackle and getting back into the defensive line. They look up for the indicator with where the fullback wants him either A on the left or A on the right. Key position once he arrives is outside foot up to get off the line square, body weight forward for quick line speed and short feet into contact preparing for a change of direction from the attacker. Watch young Jack takes us through the key movements.
