25.01.2022 I don’t want to alarm anyone but it’s only 5 weeks until Christmas! How did that happen?! It’s never been more important to #BuyFromTheBush but especially this Christmas. Our candles make the perfect gift, whichever fragrance you choose! And to make sure your candles arrive in time, last Christmas orders need to be made by Sunday 13th December.... There will be such a wonderful group of makers and market stalls, all to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. 08.01.2022 A LIL’ INTRO I’m so bloody excited to be taking you all on this journey with me for one hell of a wild, gypsy, no-idea-what-I’m-doing kinda ride. A lil’ intro about me - farm girl at heart but wouldn’t know the first thing about spray rigs...or much to do about tractors...Exhibit A in the background I LOVE cooking delicious food, running through the paddocks and taking the pooch for a stroll down the back. What I’m most grateful for is the love, support and generosity you have all have shown me with my newest little adventure - I can’t wait to see you all burst through the doors when we are up and running! On a side note...I’m busy making bulk candles with our new and improved branding - so between hammers, paint brushes and brooms, candles will be launching soon so stay tuned #buyfromthebush

03.01.2022 You know how to light a candle, but do you know how to do it for best results? For an even and smoke-free burn, make sure you trim the wick to around 5mm every time before you light the candle. This minimises any unnecessary soot and smoke, and controls the size of the flame. If you notice your candle flickering or smoking, let the candle cool and trim the wick. We use beautiful ceramic canisters that don’t heat up as much as traditional glass vessels, but we still recommend you burn your candle in a safe space on a solid surface. And when your candle has only 10mm of wax left, it’s time to order a new one!
