12.01.2022 Prescient is today hosting another popular and empowering workshop: 'Using video to enable active learning'. Presented by Jeremy LeCornu (Assistant Principal Innovation, Teaching and Learning at Seaview High School and an experienced science educator), this interactive, practical and hands-on workshop provides educators with tools and strategies for engaging students more deeply in their learning. Educators are getting the opportunity to hear from peers who are successfully using this approach, and learn about the technology, planning and tools needed to comprehensively develop and implement active learning through video to achieve deeper learning.

07.01.2022 Knowledge of sciences and teaching sciences have been a timeless part of education. Today we are empowering educators through the Prescient workshop Building stronger analysis in science. Presented by the SACE Board's Education Innovation Project Officer, Glen Arthur, South Australian science educators have come together to grow in their understanding of applying an error matrix to improve analysis. Dr Hilary Coleman, of the University of Canberra, was also in attendance to present her action based research evidence that supports the use of an error matrix.

02.01.2022 The SACE Board apologises to all students who were due to sit today’s SACE Psychology electronic exam. Due to an unforeseen technical issue, students were unable to sit this exam.
